infrastructure problems that are ignored and another big RED light actually several

The greed -- this tsunami of over the top community crushing development did not care about infrastructure problems -- didn't care how cramming so many more people, college kids in to supersized builds --- mega builds weighing heavy on old New York's infrastructure would endanger us below the ground and in the East Village, Lower East side and Bowery down to China Town there have been a lot of infrastructure breaks and related problems from water main breaks, sewage, gas leaks, and look at this flooding...   There are all kinds of environmental concerns -- and seeing how thick and polluted the air quality was today -- very bad -- you could see it -- is a reminder -- nature has a way to handle this -- green -- nature's green absorbs water fall more efficiently than a sewer as you can see --- this is 6th St. and Avenue A and Mother nature's green fights pollution and the tsunami of development adds to the pollution problems eating up green we need, weighing on a delipidated infrastructure.
You must click on the picture above and see the rotted rust and the water coming through it at Cooper Station...these two photos do not do justice.   As an artist I took all my anger and frustration and wrote "Murderville in the East Village" a dark and modern twist on the film "Laura" but she is dead and her body may or may not turn up. The techno-billionaire whiz kid that heads the NYPD techno-task force (all fiction, I wanted a billionaire retired 27 Silicon Valley retiree that volunteers his services to the NYPD for a dollar a year--another by product of the New Economy of mega wealth)  Her body may turn up because of the largest infrastructure break in NYC's history -- because her body is buried under the St. Ann's mega dorm.... I posted me reading this on my mac website that can also be found in the itunes store under my poems "Tompkins" and my short story "The Going".

I would email DEP -- never got a response and I would email Dan Doctoroff and he had someone email back infrastructure is just fine and that was before the disaster by Grand Central that looked like a terror attack.  Dan Doctoroff left office which is very odd don't you think.  I emailed him after you and the mayor leave the infrastructure breaks are going to be a huge problem for the next mayor but there are here now and if people are not killed or injured -- many like the survivors of these crane disasters are forced out -- displaced.



Me on a dry day, same subway stop, forcing myself to smile. I catch myself looking so awful -- and a big part is how I feel. I really feel I was robbed but I can't call 911. I was robbed of my smile and much more.

You can see me on NY1 with a diverse group of community members affected by a medium sized water main break in the East Village and I was published in AM New York "Destroying Old New York" Jan 11, 2007, where I talked about my concerns for safety city wide and specifically at 12o East 12th St., St Ann's and the area because the build was too big and NYU wanted to cram as many as 900 students but there are huge infrastructure and environmental concerns but Amanda Burden and Mike Bloomberg did not think so.
