John Sexton along with Scott Stringer and Christine Quinn and 50 city council members including Melissa, Tish, etc. with the exception of Charles Barron voted for Rudin luxury Greed condos deciding the community would have to live without a trauma level one hospital rape crisis center and AIDS care!

NYU mega Dormed the East Village to death😡!!!   John sexton ran down to City Hall and cut a huge line of citizens to testify that Mike Bloomberg must have an illegal third term.   Why?  He wanted to make sure his illegal Community crushing real estate deals were pushed through.

It was sickening to see a photo of mayor de Blasio practically cuddling Bratton and Rudin.  I caught a retired NYPD commander trying to fix it ticket right in front of me for Bill Rudin's flunky and Ray Kelly and internal affairs nothing!

Think NYPD infamous Ramos fixing in favors oh yeah that doesn't go on in Manhattan ask the Manhattan DA!  

Ask Cy Vance why no criminal investigation and prosecution of those involved in St. Vincent's demise?  Cy Vance afraid it would bring attention to Rudin's acquisition? Cy Vance afraid of angering the oligarchs of New York including Howard Rubenstein?

Mike Bloomberg and socialite Amanda the people’s Burden, worst city planner in NY’s history are Sexton’s enablers hence Sexton running down to City Hall to testify that Mike must have a 3rd term.  The only thing Mike Bloomberg and  Amanda the people’s Burden  and John Sexton haven’t done is provide NYU buses, trolley and trains to move log term residents out.
Bobst Library was the higher ed suicide capital until NYU was forced to put in a suicide prevention barrier.

NYU Trolleys and Buses hated by every community they occupy from Stuy Town down to South St. Seaport stoop the waste stop all the empty buses or at least pick up community members

New Yorkers are fuming.  They are sick of waiting for public transportation which is lacking only to be passed by empty NYU buses and trolleys that clog the streets.  If you are going to have such a wasteful and destructive presence why not stop and pick up community members standing and waiting for transporation.

Why can't NYU students take public transportation.

The sea of empty trolleys and buses really piss people off.   Ditto for seeing them parked on Broadway and Lafayette Street.  NYU owns so much property park your buses and trolleys on your property rather than further congest Broadway and Lafayette Street.

How ironic because if NYU had done this in the first place the WTC area would have been rebuilt already. Walk past 120 East 12th Street and see the facade of St. Ann's from 1847 that survived everything but NYU's need and greed to build yet another mega dorm in the East Village. The USPS owned the air rights over St. Ann's and was legally obligated to notify the State of NY so the State would come in and examine is this in the best interest of the community but just like chronically blocking the fire hydrants around the corner the USPS was confident it was above the law. NYU and the USPS did not care about what is best for the community. I just wrote a long piece exposing NYU including how I over heard a staff member bragging about getting a zero mortgage from NYU and how Bobst Library is the only university library to have to install suicide barriers because NYU's library was the student suicide spot for kids to kill themselves. NYU used the term community facility to bust through zoning yet they exclude the community. I asked NYU, Mike Bloomberg on the John Gambling show to protect us from NYU and to make NYU give us community outreach resource centers in ever mega dorm so the students see the community they are over whelming is struggling and get involved in volunteering. I even wrote President Obama asking for him to pressure NYU to implement this because NYU is gobbling up the communities where ever they expand. NYU set the precedent for Cooper Union, The New School, SVA, NY Law to all join NYU in mega dorming the East Village to death and further displace the East Village. I went to bed in the East Village and woke up in a bad xerox of mid-town turning in to a bad xerox of Dubai. You see I lived next to St. Ann's and I witnessed NYU's special free passes to work 7 days a week and late nights. NYU has made the Village east and west look like the finanical district and that was clearly Mike and Amanda, socialite mega millionaire the people's Burden goal. NYU zone busting lead the way for hotels to come in and an entire transitory population of college students and tourists as the community was pushed out in all kinds of clever ways. NYU is the evil empire. NYU is the purple reign of terror using higher ed status as a tax shelter to buy up as much property as possible at the communities expense in way too many ways including displacement.

Rest -- not

First thanks to all the people that write me about my health.  I just got very touching emails from someone who found my blog and contacted me yesterday and he expressed several kind thoughts to me and one was concern for my health.  Very touching....

I used to be vegetarian (ran my marathons as a vegetarian) and I long to return to being a veg only eater.  When I started donating gallons of my platelets and two white blood cell donations as well as occasionally whole blood which is the shortest and easiest I start to not be a vegetarian to make sure I passed the iron test which even than sometimes I did not.

Well my primary care MD and my acupuncturist have said not more blood donations and in fact to chill on giving period.  I am told I have to rest and I find rest in NYC one of the hardest endeavors.   I was talking to someone not in NY yesterday and he could not get over the noise pollution including loud sirens blasting in the back round.

I got matzoh ball soup from Whole Foods and it was not as good as Mom's and also had a lot of pepper and as you know I have acid reflux so that may be one reason it feels like a 3rd degree burn in the back of my throat.  I also have a major cold so today is an official rest day.  The papers have not loaded their sites with new news  but I am sure it is the usuals on corruption in NY politics, horrifying cuts with implications that have not set in and the irony is Hollywood wants to raise movie prices not slash them which shows you how out of touch LaLa land is because here in NYC that just means more people won't be going.

The harsh cuts won't affect the rich entertainers or steroid popping athletes that lie to the public like their many girlfriends.  I can't understand why Mike Bloomberg, the great businessman could not do more  to prevent these horrible cuts including to the NYPD which means more crime on the streets to the school system and also how Bloomberg burdened the middle class and drove them out like no other despot even mean old Rudy and more is to come.  Someone do the stats on that.  How many people left NY under Mike Bloomberg's 1st ,2nd, and 3rd term  but be comforted at least NYU, Cooper Union and Columbia U. - Columbia displaced the entire neighborhood of Manhattanville and continue on expanding using higher ed like a tax shelter to gobble up NYC.

Be comforted the most obscenely paid athletes the Yankees (and I am Yankee Fan but Thurmond Munson and Babe Ruth are my favorites) are paying in a new stadium highly funded by tax payer money and most tax payers can't afford it but at least A-Roid's newest girlfriends will have free seats.  Maybe he has several attend the same game?  I remember in old Yankee stadium an outfielder sending one of the bat boys to attempt to pick up a young woman.  I thought wow can this guy multi-task.  She turned down the millionaire ball player.  We are all invited to attend the games, it is just most New Yorkers can't afford the seats, the beer, the hot dogs, etc.  Welcome to the Bloomberg's new hideous NY.

Their abuses are so many, so complicated and shady, Gordon Gekko is teaching a class at Stern Business School in conjunction with Cooper Union on how to use your not for profit status as a tax shelter and demolish a neighborhood without going to jail and making big profits! The course includes the need for high priced attorneys to beat down community concerns and public relations staff to sell the students and the press on how wonderful their misdeeds are and that lie the community just loves what they do.

The New York City Fire Patrol: An Illustrated HistoryFire Patrolman Roma died Sept. 11 and his plaque should be there. I never imagined our historic fire houses would be closed and so for real estate after Sept. 11. There is another haunting issue to contend with and that is the ghost of Fire Patrolmen Schwartz. According to author Arthur C. Smith, Patrolmen Schwartz hung himself at work broken hearted over his wife cheating on him and can be seen in his 1930's regalia. I have to repeat, i can't believe so many of our firehouses have been closed and sold and more is to come. I can't believe the ghost of Babe Ruth is now homeless because a new Yankee Stadium paid in part with tax payer money that most tax payers can't afford tickets to was forced on us. Welcome to Mike Bloomberg's hideous new New York. Anderson Cooper should donate the building to the City of New York.

Cooper Union art student calls himself atboyslimisgod Peter Cooper is turning over in his grave he wanted to help not crush a community

atboyslimisgod has made a comment on Cooper Union I feel is endangering community, Cooper like NYU greedy real estate magnate: Despite my spoiled and greedy tendencies as a cooper union student, i have too agree with this video. The mega studio building is clearly a excessive and greedy use of space for the cooper union art program. There is no rationalization for tearing down the vacant yellow building when funding could easily be obtained by greatly downsizing or eliminatiion the art portion of the cooper union. The absbestos and inevitable colapse of the building due to the subway tunnel located a mere 150 feet from the closest corner of the building make it an ideal location for the humanities department. Furthermore the watermain could soak the relocated library there. Gee cooper union student -- duh, do ya think your school could build a building that respected the zoning and actually was devoted to education rather than zone busting, weighing heavy on our old dilapidated infrastructures and gee whiz stop using terms like higher education and community facility to bust through our zoning and the building have nothing to do with education but purely about real estate greed. Duh, Cooper Union busts through zoning and than land leases the property like the sky piercing mirrored building on what was a parking lot or the little yellow building you refer to that will be sky piercing, busts through zoning and Cooper Union is going to lease for 99 years.

Cooper Union is tearing down their little yellow science building and supersizing and just like the hideous mirrored building almost across the street where Cooper Union owns the land and leases it -- this supersized zone buster will have nothing to do with education but higher greed. Cooper Union college kids are not anti-community crushing builds but embrace the Gordon Gekko greed is good mentality.

The super sized mega builds way heavy on the delipidated subway station right there they rain and leak like Venice, Italy so if there is any crisis like the covered by NY1 and Channel 11, Cooper Union is innocent and had nothing to do with it.

City Hall Inauguration day -- cold day -- not many people where I am standing near the press entrance. I yell at Christine Quinn she is corrupt.
