As NYC's political scene is buisness as usual and I meant that in the worst way I mystically visit Italy's beautiful vineyards via the Lower East Side

Ssshh, don't let Mike Bloomberg, our billionaire mayor or socialite mega millionaire city planner Amanda Burden read this. I mention the stunning mosaic art that comprises the wines labels with roots in Ravenna and Mike and Amanda might want to go visit along with NYU's president, John Sexton and tear down some historical buildings...maybe even a church like they pushed through the tear down of St. Ann's at 120 East 12th Street next to my ex-home of 2o years. Please visit 120 East 12th Street to see the haunting facade from 1847 and learn why I refer to the president of NYU as John the church murder Sexton.
Oh, yes, Italy respects and protects it's history....enjoy...
ps A rant on yesterday's primary results....
Have you noticed Mike Bloomberg keeps ripping off Tony Avella's campaign and spouts "Tonyisms" as if Mike didn't push a tsunami of community crushing development and put on your safety belts because more is coming under the "reign" reins of King Mike Bloomberg aka known as the little emperor of NYC.
Larry Seabrook is lucky no one in his district reads The New York Times as in the scandals up to his eyeballs that in another city, not NYC (yes New Yorkers have a high threshold for corruption) and gave this city council member most people expected to do time behind bars a third term!
Christine Quinn just squeaked by and if Derr wasn't so stubborn, willfully obtuse or is secretly a Quinn supporter, Yetta would be the lesbian civil rights laywer, representing the NYC government we can only dream about. Go Yetta! At least I would hope so but at least Yetta wouldn't be a sell out Mike Bloomberg puppet getting kickbacks, oops, I meant to say commissions from developers oh, I meant to say campaign contributions whether developers actually build a project that Quinn "sponsors".
I wanted Italian American, Tony Avella for mayor...is this a deep longing for Mayor LaGuardia, one of the most beloved, or the most beloved mayor of New York City?
Yes, Mayor La Guardia remains the most popular Mayor in NYC history. I am told Mayor LaGuardia had Jewish ancestry.
