47 East 3rd Street, Protest lead by John Penley was peaceful with smiles, free pizza and a steamy kiss
I supplied the free beverages. John referred to these beverages as yuppie drinks. Two Boots generously supplied their delicious pizza free. John Penley and the 9th Precinct had a chat you can see below. The photos are in no specific order but the only violence is that of the greedy cruel Economakis family tossing long term community members out. The protest was passionate with smiles, free food and one couple got really, really excited.

I love this photo, Jefferson Siegel, to the left photographing this beautiful little girl, John Penley, protestor, our NYPD and Elsa Renesaa.

Watching the NYPD set up the barricades seems to excite the locals to passion.
Creepy Alistar Economakis was worried about violence but instead I saw a lot of love and beautiful smiles.
Our D.I. and Community Affairs Det. having a chat with John Penley. Everything is respectful and peaceful which makes me proud of both the 9th and our activists.
I took a photo of these small flowers across the street and I thought the Economakis family aren't capable of seeing these small flowers just like they have no feeling for the people they are bent on throwing out of their homes and therefore out of the community that wants them to stay. We prefer the Economakis sell themselves another of their buildings to themselves for a dollar that doesn't involve eviction and live there.

Dear loyal blog readers: I left early do to fatigue and stress but I am so proud of my community including peaceful cooperative respectful behavior by us and our precinct.
I have no idea what happened after I left but the passion was heart felt and city wide people have had it. Better to let us speak up peacefully. We are angry.
The Economakis family need to develop some empathy and a conscious and sell themselves another one of their buildings to themselves for a dollar some where else that doesn't involve evicting long term community members that DO NOT have the alternatives that mega bucks people like the Economakis family have or inherited or whatever. Move!!!! Leave the tenants of 47 East 3rd Street alone! www.47e3.org
Visit their site, read and donate if you can. I have!!!!
Arrogant Alistar child of a shipping magnate was only concerned about possible damage to his property not how he is damaging so many lives and hurting our community.
I am proud of my community. Good job policing us 9th Precinct.
So glad we could turn up tonight and special thanks to John Penley for making this happen.
