Gun violence on streets of NY but since the NYPD can't be blamed nobody speaks up

Only time certain "politicos" and I use that word, usually speak up is when they can blame the NYPD but the streets of NYC continue to be the wild west riddled with gun fire and there is something so wrong with the people that are packing these fire arms and shooting people out on the streets, in housing projects. They don't live in a vacuum and they needed to be turned in.
We have to get these violent creeps off the street and than people wonder why an officer might draw a gun and fire....
because they streets are way too violent.
I do admire any police officers that don't use their guns and I do not support any reckless behavior by the police but when are people going to spend even have the outrage and talk about why the streets of NYC are riddled with gun violence and all kinds of violence and demand that it stop?
The mayor also has to find a way to pay the NYPD better and make sure they get good pensions even though our budget, the states budget are bust to hell. By the way, is city council going to "unvote" themselves a raise since our budget is bust although you would never know it from the way city council allots money to fake organizations, to organizations where there husbands, wives, sisters, brothers, friends sit on or run...

An occasional appearance by a rap artist that made a fortune glamorizing violence urging non-violence is not enough.
We need to bring Peace to the Streets!!!!!!!!!!
