After Sept. 11 -- when we had the largest loss of rescue workers and in particular firemen the mayor pushed a tsunami of development but Mike Bloomberg decided to shut down firehouses and even sell them! For me this was reckless, crazy, it didn't make sense except dollars and cents for city gov who was being robbed blind literally by city council members and their aides.I want to scream tonight when I saw the plaque removed -- that plaque honored the one guy they lost Sept. 11. It also reminded me of St. Ann's 120 East 12, next door to where I lived for 20 years and the parishioners crying and praying on the street. I just couldn't believe Cardinal Egan could stoop so low as to sell of these churches like he was having a bake sale and why? I just couldn't believe NYU with the help of a corrupt USPS acting in my opinion like mafia except they made the mafia some how look honorable -- the USPS sold the air rights to NYU and they did not notify the State of NY as legally obligated just like blocking the fire hydrant in front of entrance of my thankfully now ex-home and even came in to my lobby to exhibit more disturbing behavior (You don't want to be next door neighbors with the USPS or a mega dorm) ...the USPS was confident they were above the law and that year it was announced just last year the USPS lost "only" 2 billion dollars which was an improvement from the year before the USPS lost 5 billion dollars so no wonder they were in cohoots with the evil empire, the purple reign of terror NYU to push the deal thru. Leave it to NYU, the Purple Reign of Terror to exploit any circumstance and tear down our historic New York.
I can't believe St. Ann's is gone. I can't believe I look downtown from 6th Ave and I can't see the WTC towers but now the hideous and in my opinion illegal sky piercing Trump building already marked by death because a construction worker died there may he rest in peace.
I can't believe this stunning building has been shut down and put on the chopping block and I pray the corrupt evil empire posing as higher ed doesn't buy it.
FYI Fire Patrol Schwartz, a ghost from the 1920's, if I got this story right offed him self there from a broken heart. Well know Mike Bloomberg has made him homeless.
Babe Ruth's ghost is homeless and Babe is not crossing the street to go to the new hideous Yankee Stadium that most New Yorkers can't afford.
There are more homeless as well and add some ghosts thanks to Mike Bloomberg.
If anything happens to me I promise to come back as a ghost and serve justice big time. I already wrote 2 ghosts stories, one more a sketch about a woman that haunts the East Village to serve justice against corrupt greedy people that harmed her and her community.

Woke up exhausted as usual. A youtuber made a reference to a poem that moved me and he wrote about the fact we should not be closing firehouses. I happen to get his emails as I was passing Fire Patrol 2. I dream I saw a fireman that worked at Ladder 3 that died downtown. He was younger, he looked very happy and he was working in a big house. I told him the cats and me are going to baby sit three dogs, peaceful place, he said he wished he was going with me. He was happy were he was and of course he was busy helping people. I felt good seeing him happy.
