Did NYU ever take down those fake walls at Stuy Town so they could cram more students in and the students that somehow manage to stay on at Stuy Town -- have they removed the fake walls that were illegally added. It is against the law and NYC has wept tears from innocent people including firemen that died because of fake walls. Stuy Town supposedly cracked down on it but was NYU ever held accountable and their students -- no longer officially living in NYU student housing at Stuy Town but are still at Stuy Town have they been forced to take down the walls? Rumor has it in a certain building in the East Village do date the landlord has not removed fake walls and as usual I am told DOB does nothing. This landlord like NYU just seems above the law..."business as usual" in NYC.

When are the authorities going to do their job and make some arrests. Why are certain groups above the law and they are robbing us blind and that includes Albany which is costing tax payers especially NYC mega millions because they can't get beyond their bloated egos and remember their job -- they serve the people not their egos......to the murder of our neighborhood by greedy real estate magnates, developers and landlords who oddly seem either above the law or the laws protect them to the mayor and city planner that sold us out -- the people of New York for their rich power broker friends as if they were on the board of NYU, Cooper Union, Columbia U., NY Law, etc.
We also need very public arrests at City Hall and even at the community board level if it can be proven that money is being stolen but I fear that even if we handed in video and audio there would not be any arrests.
