Suzannah B. Troy exhausted - few updates health and also Beth Israel billing as in wrong billing in my opinion and harassment + my thoughts on the NYPD
Dear Supporters and Friends: I am exhausted!!!! Have some health issues and I am working on them. Rest and also working out are some good all natural activities to improve one's health!
Beth Israel called me last Friday night at 7:00 and said as a courtesy they would forgive the money I owed them and I responded I was reporting them to the NY State Attorney General's office because there is a legal agreement between me, HIP and Beth Israel and based on that agreement I kept up my end of the agreement and did not owe them anything.
I do feel very concerned for people who just get a bill and think that the bill is correct when in fact it is not.
Amy Zimmer did a great article and she got a quote were a rep from Beth Israel says something about a million patients they have to bill and I thought to myself if they wrongly charge even half a million that is a significant amount of money.
Beth Israel called me again on Monday and gave me a way better explanation but I said as long as you don't explain to a patient up front what they will have to pay with HIP verifying my responsibilities it is not right. He said they were trying to work that out and they did have kinks. I told Elsa that guy said they have kinks in the system and Elsa said something like sinkholes or something funny...although we weren't laughing.
p.s. I have this amazing respect for good NYPD and believe they get a special place in Heaven for perhaps one of the most challenging policing jobs in the world with the most demanding and diverse people on the planet. I recently lost an NYPD Det. card I got from a 9-11 friend that has the World Trade Centers on it. I am really sad and hope a good soul found it. I can't stand going to protest Christine Quinn or any protest and come up against NYPD that do not know the law or worse or flouting the law and violating our rights. I support the NYPD and praise them when they do good. They do good that we take for granted that allows us to walk safely down the street. I just can't take the bad apples and do believe they should be dealt with accordingly.
For anyone following my blogs and YouTube, FYI, Deputy Inspector Barry is now officially updated on the NYPD website to her official status of D.I. If you don't know her sgt. a woman, was reprimanding me for calling her Capt. Barry but I did because I was referring to the website. I was impressed with DI Barry's responsiveness and transparency which Jack Maple said we should demand from the NYPD in his book!
