- 02/20/2011 2:41 PMMichael: I think you are a nice guy. I don't agree with you. I think the NYPD should get the biggest bonuses possible and for the super brave on down a sliding scale. Whether it is a union, NYC gov and corrupt politicians or corp. if only we could get rid of people taking up space not contributing. So much money is stolen and abused -- just look at CityTime -- where we on our on the billion $ mark for a time clock to prevent union workers from stealing yet it appears many consultants where falsifying time sheets and so far at least 80 million $ has been proven stolen and many wish we could get a full 800 mill refunded. Look at Christine Quinn and the slush funds and countless corruption exposed every day from Albany to City Hall and corrupt deals robbing tax payers of mega-bucks. If anything give the Bravest and the Finest that are proven truly the bravest the biggest bonuses. On the other hand Unions have to stop protecting corrupt and dangerous people and they need to lose their pensions and stop collecting pay checks ex. the rape cops of the 9th Precinct.

Michael: Double dipping is when Bloomberg pays his administrative assistants two salaries putting them in a higher bracket than commissioner Kelly as exposed by The NYPost. The NYPD have the most under appreciated and dangerous job for the good ones. It is sickening how NYC gov fat cats don't have jobs that could mean losing their life in the line of the duty and are truly double dipping, robbing the tax payers of money and they and their girlfriends are being chauffeured around courtesy of the NY tax payers.
If you see my previous post I do not condone corruption.
I don't want the 2 NYPD women officers that shot a homeless man most likely mentally ill who attacked them with a chair and killed him. In my opinion they did not deserve any awards.
Worse an off duty NYPD officer that was not suspended immediately for leaving the scene of a crime -- yet it became a crime scene in my book when he left...he should a young Hispanic male in a moving vehicle because he thought he had a gun but it was just his fingers. The officer had some drinks and he did not stick around.
Now The New York Post exposes that the 2 rape cops are being paid their full salary and that is sickening.
I was talking to a compassionate soul re: the NYPD and he felt such compassion for them -- their job he said has got to grind them down. I agree and I feel the same compassion. I just don't want "cooping" aka doing as little as possible to nothing to get your pay check or worse corrupt, mean spirited people that should not be wearing a badge and have possession of a gun. That is frightening.
Ditto for corrupt politicos robbing us blind from Albany to City Hall.
