History of Violence -- suspects arrested in Vada Vasquez shooting
http://www.nydailynews.com/news/ny_crime/2009/11/19/2009-11-19_suspects_in_vada_vasquez_shooting_a_history_of_violence.html
There is way too high a threshold for violence and so many of us here in NYC live it every day on the "lowest grade" being victimized with words, etc. Even something as emails I have posted by an associate editor of a local rag are unacceptable and in a real newspaper the staff member would be fired but the bottom line is violence towards women in treating them badly in any shape and form is acceptable unless bullets fly. Than people pay attention.
These boys are part of a gang but in NYC it is men of all colors and background that are confident they can get away with any type of disrespectful hateful behavior they want as long as they don't murder anyone. They are women that are just as bad and part of the "club".
When it comes to these gun fights on the streets of New York they are almost always men or boys with guns and the random victims that tend to be in the wrong place at the wrong time be it their living room, in front of their homes with their children or a play ground with their grandchild are women.
I had such awful treatment I can only define as misogynist in the lobby of m ex-home and all I can say is welcome to Misogynist NYC. Girls and Women live in a hostile environment where bullets of abusive words can hit you or real life bullets from simply being in the wrong place at the wrong time...including on your living room couch watching tv.
The violence is unacceptable. The lack of respect for humanity and community unacceptable and as you all know the blatant misogyny is more so because it doesn't seem to register so how can we address what is unacceptable when society will not even acknowledge misogyny.

From a 5 year old girl wounded- 92 year old grandmother murdered for just being...murderers not caught and murders have no respect for life, community
http://www.nypost.com/p/news/local/bronx/awful_moment_down_shock_and_grief_ihYemqEQVhDc64aSSoHERL
Yes, they have guns and zero respect for life and community. They have no empathy or remorse.
I have list of names of victims, their ages and the fact that some of their murderers have not been caught...
I use the word murder the NYPost uses the word "killed" -- if I don't say unsolved the NYPD made an arrest....
I can't wade through the nypost's website to give you link...the post's website is the worst. If you are searching for anything on the nypost and nydaily news websites...good luck...
I can't find the list of photos of victims and link but they are mentioned in the article above....
From NY Post -- If I had the link you could see their photos which is more moving
Nyasia Pryear age 17 killed Jan. 18 unsolved murder
Christopher Owen age 12 killed April 26 unsolved murder
Diamond Flowers age 5 wounded May 28 unsolved
Davonte Kelly age 11 wounded June 7 unsolved
Jesselle Page age 44 murdered June 10 + Jesselle Page was gunned down in front of her 8 year old grand nephew
Anna Surman age 87 murdered Aug 2 unsolved shot as she stepped outside to feed neighborhood cats
Aisha Santiago age 25 murdered Sept. 25 murdered in front of her 9 year old son -- they happen to get caught in gang gun fire
Kevin Miller age 13 Oct. 2 walking home from school.
Sadie Mitchell 92 years old murdered Oct. 20 MURDERED sitting in her home watching tv -- a stray bullet went through her window.
Please note a grandmother, Virginia Valree, 66 was shote Nov. 18 in Harlem delivering food to a sick friend was hit by a stray bullet at 3:30PM. She is doing okay.

USPS blocks cross walk so no handicap person can get up on to sidewalk DO NOT COMPLAIN
To complain means the corporate office apologizing via mail and telephone calls and the worst kind of retaliation that I promise you -- you cannot imagine so do not complain.
We simple have to wait until the USPS loses maybe a 100 billion dollars for them to find take responsibility for major problems that have nothing to do with competing with the internet but here is one hint...customer service that makes the Mafia look warm and friendly and zero respect for the laws which includes abusing their Federal Status.

Put on your safety belts budget cuts are a coming...more New Yorkers will flee the city
http://www.nbcnewyork.com/news/local-beat/City-Hall-Orders-175B-in-Additional-Cuts-70213167.html
I blame Albany for the exodus of New Yorkers as much as Mike Bloomberg and City Hall....
Pastor Diane Dunne who feeds many at Tompkins Square Park interviewed Channel 4 NBC news Fire pantry that feeds the homeless
http://www.wpix.com/news/wpix-food-pantry-fire,0,2128193.story
Diane was interviewed on Channel 4 news NBC and she said she pities the person that set fire to the pantry that feeds so many homeless people.
Many told me it was hard to sit through some of Diane's fire and brim stone speeches but she is a good soul that works very hard with her staff to feed so many homeless people and has done so for years at Tompkins.
While some vile misognists took pleasure in homeless people's struggles like Marlene's vulnerability, photographing her drunk and topless or celebrating such cruel exploitations going to the exploitive x blog to mock her illness, the misogynist and heartlessness represented the worst side of Tompkins and Diane tried to find her shelter and help her represents the best. It was vile to be harassed by Lincoln Anderson and I posted his shockingly offense and disgraceful comments about both Marlene and I on my blog. I can't imagine what vulnerable and needy people like Marlene would without Diane and other groups out there feeding so many in need. There are so many others in that park you have to be careful of, very uncool exploitive people, some with cameras and cruel agendas who would never offer a homeless person a meal even any day of the week.
It sounds like people are going to step forward and help in some way...heartbreaking because truly Diane and all those that work to feed the homeless year around, year after year are Olympic. You can see Diane and her staff working hard to feed the homeless in Tompkins Square Park and so many people turn out which is proof there are so many people in need.
hit the back of my head today
I feel backwards and I have a major bump on the upper part of my head... I made sure not to go to sleep and stay alert. I am okay...
Memory: I ran downtown from the East Village down the West Side highway up and through the World Trade Center around the memorial to the victims of the 1st attack including a pregnant Mom.
I came out the west part of the WTC. It was raining and I jumped up on to this marble type structure and I slipped and feel. The back of my head hit the marble.
I held my dog tags in my hand and decided I was going to get up and run home and I did.
I can't run anymore and as I get close to 50 I miss that part of my life --- the intense physical works out.... the all natural high was the highest and the "body heat" beyond invigorating...
I think of a fireman that died downtown that seemed to love my athleticism and fiery passion.
We were not lovers but he had these stunning blue eyes and he ate up what other people seemed to fear or be jealous of.
Suzannah B. Troy, the portrait of Mike Bloomberg turned art poster lampooning + YouTube resistance talking of voter anger from the get go not news yet
I am confident there is a future audience and there is no doubt the media did it's best not to report the news but it is part of history and will be told sometime in the future even if I am not around to enjoy...
I told the press if I was murdered (misogynist NYC) you would rush to report that and all your papers published my letters but you won't report the news on my poster which is brilliant....
I told them I would have the last laugh from Heaven and at 10:00PM watching the news Nov. 3,
I emailed them saying Heaven is on Earth and I was laughing...they would not report the news, tell the truth and I watched them eat their words, toss aside their scripts on air on finally report the truth...the news...
Two Villagers originally from Africa The Grey African Parrots dining on ritz crackers University Place
Please visit they Alex Foundation to find out more about these fascinating and very beautiful birds who happily were dining on their Ritz crackers.
If you click on the photo and than look at both their claws you can see each gingerly holding their snacks. There eyes are stunning and their vocalizations as exotic as their beauty.
Also please note the supermarket in the background as they are beginning an endangered species here in NYC.
Joyce Purnick's book, read it but take it for what it is -- not much
Joyce Purnick may give you some ugly insights to Mike Bloomberg including that he speaks "misogynist" fluently at City Hall in the bull pen commenting on women's chests as if he is at one of NYC's famous mammary bars but she somehow left out that one of Mike Bloomberg's biggest supporters, his money manager, Steve Rattner's Quadrangle was being investigated for "pay to play" in pension scandals in three States including NY. No one believes Rattner stepped down from his White House job because he wanted to spend more time with his family. Of all the people Purnick quotes expressing their outrage at City Hall to Mike Bloomberg is none other than real estate developer and landlord "Mike Red Square Rosen". I call him this because he brought forth The Red Square development that looks like the prototype for NYU mega dorms and the NY Law dorm on 3rd Street with balconies. Purnick refers to the developer Rosen as a writer - "community organizer" which is laughable. Rosen may have railed against Bloomberg but in fact he is a mini Mike Bloomberg wannabe buying people's good will just like Mike Bloomberg yet Purnick did not do her research or like Mike Rosen's good friends forgot that he is in fact a developer and that shows you insight in to Purnick...like Rosen she may appear to be a critic but she in fact part of the club. She does expose what we all knew about Murdoch and Zuckerman colluding with Mike Bloomberg to sign, seal and deliver his third term win. We will have to wait a good ten years for a real book with far more insights and accurate "true news" on Bloomberg News...the news that for now we are not privy to. Note: Purnick thanks the owner of The New York Times at the end of her book, also a club member. I renamed the paper "The New York eminent domain Times" also a big supporter of a mayor that represents developers not the people of this great city.
Post on Amazon
Note to my readers: I prefer Mike Bloomberg to the mike wannabe's all as disingenuous but at least Mike used his brains and has done far more for with philanthropy than his critics that long to be him and buy people's good will just like he does. If I had known his intentions I would have never voted for him for mayor ever; not for a first term or any term. Special nod for the worst city planner, Amanda socialite mega millionaire the people's BURDEN. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JgOdYAosFAw
A heartwarming story from homelessness to Broadway with an assist from an NYPD officer who helped her off the streets...

The Empire State and the Abuse of Eminent Domain" Suzannah B. Troy renames the piece in The Wall Street Journal
Jason G. Part 3 of my YouTube interview, he asks us to come out tomorrow for Cooper Square Committee Affordable Housing
Rally for long-promised affordable housing in the Lower East Side!
Sunday, November 15th - 1PM
Delancey St & Suffolk St, Manhattan (Lower East Side)
By Subway: F to Delancey St; J to Essex St
1,850 homes were demolished in 1967 as part of the Seward Park Urban Renewal Area - with the promise that new affordable housing would be built on these enormous tracts of land in the heart of the Lower East Side. After thousands were displaced, the affordable housing was never built.
42 YEARS HAVE PASSED, AND WE'RE STILL WAITING FOR THE AFFORDABLE HOUSING!
On the site where thousands once lived in a vibrant community - there are five enormous open-air parking lots. These sites could be used for 2,000 units of affordable housing for low-income New Yorkers and community facilities for the neighborhood, while the construction of the site and affordable commercial spaces built in them could provide much needed living-wage jobs.
Please join us for a rally to demand justice for the Lower East Side. 42 years is more than enough! Affordable housing NOW!

NYU Student Housing Center--hideous ugly store front that should be where our 1st Community Outreach resource center belongs
The centers would have free computers, a table to ask for volunteers and much more to help the community and small business.
Cooper Union just like Wall Street Greed that brought the collapse has the City do it 's dirty work but are the public safe?
My question is will Cooper Union's greed bring us down literally?
We have had two water main breaks with in a block of the hideous Cooper Union Studio building that is a big joke besides being out of touch with the community or is the message we are to be moved out, our buildings torn down so that the neighborhood resembles this futurist horror show building that belongs on the set of a bad Hollywood movie?
You can't even read the sign above the main entrance because this was so poorly designed...
Cooper Union is a pathetic joke and joined NYU as a greedy ruthless real estate magnate where education takes a distant 2nd place to shady real estate dealing where the term "community facility" means busting through zoning and excluding the community.
Here is a link to the medium size water main I witness and called the press to cover.
Note the date and years after the fact the same intersection continues to cave in because DEP can't seem to really get to the root of the problem and most of city government and Con Ed would not consider telling the real estate mayor and the wicked witch of the East Village Amanda socialite mega millionaire city planner -the peoples' Burden to slow down as many of us did.
I also worry for the safety of the people below ground as the subway stations are delipidated by the black cube but nothing will slow down Mike Bloomberg and his greedy real estate buddies "progress" which translates in to get your moving van and be careful not to get killed because too many people died from the the reckless tsunami of community crushing development he pushed that is not much different than the one that brought down Wall Street and in both cases it is not the average people that make the profits or get bailed out.
Especially not higher ed as if Mike and Amanda are the personal city planner for NYU, Cooer Union, NY Law (mega dorm on 3rd street) and Columbia University who abused eminent domain to displace all of Manhattanville.
+We have had way too many water main breaks, man hole explosion, sewage breaks and often the city comes in and does repairs only for us to seem return over and over. Something is wrong beneath the streets.
The streets are in the worse shape I have ever seen them city wide.
+NYU has also in my opinion recklessly endangered our community as well as destroyed it mega dorming the neighborhood to death and the shady air sale by the USPS to NYU was corrupted by the fact the USPS never notified the State as legally obligated as opposed by Andrew Berman. The State would have come in and examined if this was in the best concern of the community and environmental concerns and it never happened. I did call environmental crimes at State Attorney General and after speaking with him had him talk to Andrew Berman as well.
Look at the sketch of the rapist and help catch him Misogynist NYC
http://www.1010wins.com/SKETCH--Cops-Link-3rd-Attack-to-Alleged-B-klyn-Rap/5674040
Click above link to see his photograph. I was glad to see the NYPD had this sketch up in the subway car. I know many NYer's take for granted the good work they do. I don't.
Until we can make NYC a progressive city instead of Misogynist NYC girls and women have to endure all kinds of hateful behavior and it is hard to believe not only is it still going strong -- and misogny sexism sexual hate discrimination violence towards females of all ages is a global epidemic and true for her in NYC.
I always make it clear women participate in this behavior as well...often blaming fellow women for violence directed at them and prejudice as if they somehow deserve it. Welcome to the 21st Century.
Authorities describe the suspect as a male between the ages of 25 and 35, 5-foot-8 to 5-11 and weighing 220-250 pounds. Anyone with information is asked to call CrimeStoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS. |

Updates--photographed unfair ticketing as Bloomberg keeps his promise to make life impossible for small business, middle/low income + rotten City Hall
I believe my photos demonstrate "business" as usual because there was no possible way this truck could unload based on the situation. I even went up to the officer and questioned him on the unfair ticketing pointing out it was impossible for the truck to unload and park anywhere because of the way a car and truck were parked but he just laughed almost embarrassed and walked away.
I have three photos to illustrate this but is it worth all the work to illustrate what NYer's see every day and many are the victim of.
There is so much to photograph and talk about that I can't keep up.
There is a big rally coming up and will I be able to make it...I just don't know.
Note: I did get the photos up this morning. Yesterday, I asked the ticket agent, based on the car parked at the beginning of the corner and the truck double parked, the fire hydrant etc., please tell me where this truck could have parked to unload and he could not answer my question.
What is sickening is city council man Miguel Martinez and aides to Kendall Stewart and Larry Seabrook all pleaded guilty to stealing tax payer money. They helped themselves and in my opinion they are not the only ones...many are guilty but they have been able to walk is my theory along with "pork" more tax payer money being allotted to developers many with bad track records and in return developers gave the council members campaign contributions that appear as if they are kickbacks or commission as reported in two scathing articles in The NY Daily News by Benjamin Lesser. In one very long piece it ends with a paragraph on Christine Quinn
http://www.nydailynews.com/ny_local/2009/07/12/2009-07-12_some_city_politicians_received_big_campaign_donations_and_tried_to_aid_developer.html
http://www.nydailynews.com/news/politics/2009/05/31/2009-05-31_city_council.html
http://www.nydailynews.com/news/2009/06/01/2009-06-01_city_council_members_get_contributions_from_nonprofits_they_funded.html#ixzz0QN6X3lI7
And as comedian Bob Thompson pointed out in one of his rants...tax payers also had to pay 3 million dollars to Poland Spring for city workers who can't drink NYC tap water and isn't all that plastic bad for the environment.
We have to be ticketed relentlessly to raise money because of city official supposedly representing the people are stealing money and or spending wastefully and the ticketed targets small businesses, middle class and low income....another way the people are pushed out of the city.
Flashback: The USPS blocking the fire hydrant 24/7 and making it impossible for Utrecht paint to load and unload ditto for customers and the postal workers mocking me when I pointed out they were breaking the law and endangering our fire fighters and community....ha ha let the NYPD ticket and tow us. The USPS using their federal status to break the law and endanger our community from their reckless air sale to NYU over St. Ann's where they never notified the State of NY as legally obligated...thanks to my hard work the USPS appears to have stopped breaking the law outside my home of 20 years thanks to a new manager but try having a small business in NYC next to a post office or just about anywhere -- it is not easy. Ditto if you have a car which I don't and need to pull up to put purchased items in it...Mike Bloomberg has made it harder than ever and why to raise money because we don't have ethically people and good management including wasteful spending and two laws -- one for the people and one for those above the law.

Penn and Teller Bill Graham Foundation fund raiser for P.S. 161
When Penn and Teller, well Penn told us his act was ripped off and the man reviewing the rip off artist praised Penn exposing the source I thought of many times I have been ripped off and this blog...my photos robbed....
It was a great evening and for such a powerful cause. One of Bill Graham's sons gave a very moving speech about his father and his work which lives on through this foundation. What a great way to enjoy an evening and help support the arts for P.S. 161 in Harlem. There is a lot more I wrote in the text portion of the YouTube. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k8kbXXl28qM
