Theatre 80 is for rent to show your movies or any movies! Lorcan Otway and Damien The Theatre 80 Dog!
Lorcan Otway popped in the film Ghandi and turned down the lights!!!! Wow, the theatre is way better than The Quad with a great sound system, mind blowing -- surround sound and a real big screen set back. Not mega huge like the new supersized theatres but really impressive. There are beautiful little chandeliers in the back that are illuminated.
You can rent the theatre during the day for an extra great price but you have to speak to Lorcan Otway and you can have a private screening of your favorite film or for film makers promote your own film!

Theatre 80 St. Marks Place has a new family member 8 year old Damien a Jack Russell in need of a home

http://www.flickr.com/photos/lorcanotway/ For gorgeous photos of Damien and photos from inside Theatre 80 check out Lorcan Otway's flickr site.
Extremely tired today but in the future of I will have a photo and YouTube about Damien, an 8 year old Jack Russell in need of a home. I bumped in to Lorcan Otway who was on his way to the shelter and it looks like a successful match!
The old historical theatre has a "Theatre Dog" and new family member and he jives well!
After leaving I was walking down Avenue A and I saw a woman in a wheelchair in a crevice leaning on a stopped bus like she was the Titanic. This being the East Village I asked her "Do you need help?" Because in the East Village you never know... She said yes. She was light weight so I was able to lift her and her chair back on the sidewalk and made sure the bus driver knew she was making her way to his front door.
I am tired.
p.s. Later I will bring you more news and links on the shelter, encourage you to adopt older pets and give you an update on Damien and Theatre 80!
