ECornell Studying disease and affluence when I submit an assignment I qualify it I was punched in the head a running punch to my head at the doctors office and I'm still pursuing justice can you imagine I am in shock I just have to share this with you what I'm doing right now ...
My brain feels tired -- steroids my idea for analogy....
Note from Suzannah Troy: I am an artist/activist who is also suffering from severe insomnia post- head trauma violence at an MD’s — actively pursuing justice 6 and a half years... so exhausted traumatized
Nutrition can affect the promotion of cancer like "steroids" used by a “gym rat” (that is a term for someone who works out excessively at the gym). A gym rat uses steroids to amplify muscle development along with weight lifting! The difference is a gym rat knows he or she is taking a substance, steroids, which comes with warning labels and possible side effects but an individual consuming large doses of animal protein or dairy protein may have no idea they are consuming a cancer causing substance like; for instance milk or cheese that has casein in it. As discussed in Dr Campbell's lecture, casein is a cancer causing substance when consumed in large amounts. However the government decides what is officially cancer causing and issues labels but certainly has not done so with dairy products. Perhaps the future will be these kind of warning labels on casein products.
Let me qualify my opening statement but saying ‘good nutrition” at the promotion phase of cancer can actually turn “the cancer switch off” and eating unhealthy foods like animal proteins can contribute to cancer growth like steroids can contribute to muscle growth not to mention possible cancer growth as well.
Nutrition can impact the promotion of cancer starting with high levels of animal protein as Dr Campbell learned over many years of studying starting with findings of young children in the Philippines developing liver cancer. It turned out it was not an anomaly. Through the video modules in “Disease and Affluence” we learn that in the promotion stage, the results of the different varying animal proteins is small and that they do promote “turning the cancer switch on” vs vegetables and fruit help at the promotion stages to “turn the cancer switch off”.
With Dr Li we learn nutrition can impact angiogenesis; that nutrition yet again impacts blood vessel health similarly to turning off the cancer switch in the "promotion" phase of cancer.
Dr Ornish has been at the forefront of nutrition and life style changes including meditation and yoga to successfully fight cancer and he supports Dr Li's conclusions on angiogenesis and nutrition.
