Here in NYC (and all of the northeast) it's freezing cold outside, but insidePure Food and Wine, it's nice and warm, particularly when you've had a few delicious sake cocktails! Speaking of warm nights and sexy sake cocktails, what are you doing for Valentine's Day? We're mostly booked for dinner at  Pure Food and Wine already, but are keeping a waiting list for any spots that open up. Our chefs are still finalizing this year's menu, but you can click here to see last year's menu if you're interested! If you can't join us, you can always pick up your favorites to go at One Lucky Duck, including a sexy mallomar or two,moonpies, or tiramisu. Our pastry chefs are also working on pretty boxes of chocolates, stay tuned to find out when those will be available. We've been taste testing and can vouch for the deliciousness of whatever their final assortment of chocolates will be!   If you really want to go all out, you can pre-order a whole cake, just like the ones Sarma's been instagramming (and eating). (Why not??) We may have some by the slice atOne Lucky Duck on 17th street, and as always, we have our smooth dark chocolate ganache tart by the slice.    If you're not in the area, fret not. You can order all kinds of delicious (and vegan, raw, gluten-free, organic) sweets for your sweetheart or your sweet self. Rich, dark chocolate macaroons are still the original favorite.Chocolate brownies, chocolate bars, chocolate hazelnut "rawtella" (like nutella, but raw), and even a body lotion that smells like chocolate! Heart shaped sugar cookies? We have those too. And delicious raspberry thumbprints! You could get all that and put it in a hot pink organic cotton tote bag! We'll even wrap it all for you if you want, and ship it to you or your lucky loved one.   Speaking of love, Sarma's fallen for a pig named Esther. Esther is one lucky pig who was given a second chance at life, and her dads consider themselves lucky now that she's totally changed their lives too. Taking what they thought would be a small pig into their home, they quickly realized she was no mini-pig. As she grew and grew they were taken on a journey, opening their eyes to the cruelty of factory farming, and moving them to shift to a vegan lifestyle.
