Viet Nam Vet Who Protested With Us Against Michael Rawson Mercer Hotel Very Sick
My Viet Nam Vet pal....Scared he is on his way out.
Hugged him. Saying prayers.
Michael Rawson wall call 1st Precinct on Vendors and taunt the Veterans.
My pal came to my protest and FYI Marty also Viet Nam Vet who doesn't want other vendors around trashed me - lied and my friend told him off good. My friend and his wife briefly set up wake back in Soho and Marty didn't remember being rude trying to have then leave. Anyway my friend stood up for fellow Veteran Vendors and Artist vendors and Michael Rawson no longer with Mercer.
The Mercer Hotel has stopped calling police on vendors. The 1st Precinct over the years mostly good -- we had a rough phase but all Peaceful and good now especially for Eric a Korean War Vet very handicapped not from war -- 81 and he has cancer. He even enjoyed the battles just not tickets money scarce and we also celebrate Rawson gone.
We believe Michael Rawson donated 5 grand to Christine Quinn's mayoral run.
Note: Marty the back stabbing vendor -- the first time the than new commander Capt Winski made his presence felt - Capt W had him ticketed. I wrote the Judge on behalf of Marty and other vendors.
Via my blogs posts and calls to the 1st precinct regarding Rawson harassing Vets -- Rawson stopped his verbal taunts of the Vets. Much later at sometime after I protest against Rawson and The Mercer -- Rawson was history. I still have a visceral response when I see his thugs who he had steal my signs. His thugs approached me aggressively out on the street and also ordered me to stop filming. I despise them as well as Rawson.
When Rawson threw water on Marty after 1st Precinct didn't ticket vendors and Marty totally betrayed me and vendors selling as we protested saying such crap. Knowing what I know now I would have given Capt Winski a commendation.
Sometimes I see Marty and I saw KARMA. I will never forget my big Viet Nam Vet telling Marty the back stabber off. If I was in Viet Nam I would want my friend and not Marty in my platoon.
I stood outside the Veteran's Hospital and asked Vets to join us and one really cool Vet did but I can't tell you how Marty tried to undo that work -- my time my money -- I handed out flyers I printed.
Worried my Viet Nam Vet friend leaving us, very worried. Hugged him.
