"The Insider” Starring Russell Crowe, Must See -- Rent this film
http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/insider/
This is an amazing film -- a must see....you have to use your brain. Christopher Plummer gives and Oscar award winning performance as Mike Wallace from 60 minutes.
It is about the courage of being a whistle blower and anyone knows it is about being slandered, half truths to no truth -- flat out lies to having to fear for your safety....
Learn how 60 Minutes compromised it’s integrity and killed a story

I LOVE THIS SCENE!!!!!!!!!! It reminder me of our law suit against NYC, USPS and NYC gov for the illegal air sale over St. Ann’s -- I did not put my name on the suit but I went to court. The judge recused her self from the case but most of all I remember the ARROGANT mocking lawyers -- the scum defending all of the above so confident they would get away with it -- and they did.
I love this scene when the lawyer tells the corrupt lawyers to wipe that smirk off their face!!!!!!!!
SUPERB!!!!! Scene!!!!!!!
Russell Crowe should have won an Oscar along with Christopher Plummer.
This film is not boring or dull which it easily could have. Michael Mann’s name is in the the credits...hint... director *almost-- incapable of being boring telling a story.
Jeff Wigand the hero in the film who faces being slandered as well as death threats is seen here interviewing Mike Wallace. He clearly forgave Mike Wallace for his role in the original cave in to suppressing the truth because of big bucks corp. America. http://www.jeffreywigand.com/wallace.php
Sadly in NYC it is now a way of life for New Yorkers to not be told the truth - to having little to no investigative reporting but media black-out and media infor-mercials with reporters as secretaries jotting down what is dictated to them by Oligarch wannabes from politicians to corrupt lawyers and to protect the owners of the media’s financial interests.
Watch this film.
