Rudy’s Guys Peter Powers Seth Kaye Rhymes w/ SAIC MTA , Sal aka Thank Your Lucky Stars Rudy & Mike Can’t Run for President! Did I say Can’t?
Rewind:
Flashback!
Down below I pasted a section of the article with link above and folks --- how many lobbyists on CityTime for SAIC and sub-contractors on CityTime were collecting NYC pensions and SAIC and NY State or City deals including MTA. You think they would have been more inspired to look out for tax payers dollars or not....hardee har....SAIC is band from doing biz with our State and City for now...maybe for ever?
How Sal Salamone was allowed to retire with pension.... one after reading Juan Gonzalez’s piece (see below)
but read this amazing piece from the NYDN from the gossip section but a very bright news reporter Frank DiGiacomo! Amazing piece
Tuesday, City Hall News reported that transit officials are "pushing forward" on a $118 million contract with SAIC for a "radio system upgrade," despite the contract's previous rejection by State Controller Tom DiNapoli.
MTA spokeswoman Deirdre Parker told the publication that the authority was going forward with SAIC because the company's bid was, as CHN reported, "$30 million under that of the next most competitive bidder." (We can't help noting that the initial estimated cost of CityTime was $63 million. It's now expected to take a $700 million bite out of the city and is eight years behind schedule.)
The publication noted that Parker said the process was "too far along" to switch horses. "We can't just up and say, 'Never mind,'" she said.
The MTA's defense of the pricey contract, particularly in the midst of service cuts and bailouts, is interesting in light of the fact that SAIC's lobbyist is Powers Global Strategies, the consulting firm founded and headed by Giuliani's former first deputy mayor and childhood friend, Peter Powers.
The Powers Global executive handling the SAIC account is Seth Kaye, who was Giuliani's director of transportation and in that role the mayor's de facto point person on all large transportation projects. Kaye, who declined to comment, was also executive vice president for transportation and waterfront
development at the NYC Economic Development Corp. (Giuliani's former technology chief, Sal Salamone, was also hired as a consultant to SAIC for the CityTime project.)
Big nasty on Sal Salamone -- http://articles.nydailynews.com/2011-02-06/local/28534833_1_citytime-consultants-citytime-scandal-saic
Investigative reporters with more resources than an artist with a blog -- hello...?
Make a flow chart of every sub-contractor for every major contractor...hardee har...
ditto for their lobbyists....for the contracts where tax payer money abused -- see how many are collecting NYC Pensions! Nice work if you can get it!
Amazing CityTime, ECTP, NYCAPS, no arrest of City Officials and law suits and I forgot to mention rumors re: 311 also...ho hum....we don’t have anyone to enforce the law when it comes to NYC gov and white collar crime -- almost all crime goes on for years involving government figures and most escape jail.
Aren’t you glad Mike Bloomberg and Rudy Giuliani can’t CityTime to The White House -- we can’t afford them. http://suzannahbtroy.blogspot.com/2011/10/rudy-no-president-thanks-for-citytime.html Agostino mentioned in above link another Rudy guy... ECTP also CityTime lobbyists for both.
The MTA SAIC deal that almost was SHAMEFUL and I want to know if Patricia Harris’s husband and Mark Page, Joel Bondy’s boss pushed the MTA SAIC since they were appointed by Mike Bloomberg and Mike was pushing SAIC like drug king pin pushes heroin.
Note: When Christine Quinn brushed aside 2 investigations in to CityTime Joel Bondy testified under oath....oh dear...but that is okay because Mike Bloomberg perjured himself during the Haggerty trial! Who cares! Cy Vance is too busy arresting innocent Occupy Wall Street Protestors lured on to the Brooklyn Bridge! http://mayorbloombergkingofnewyork.blogspot.com/2011/06/suzannah-b-troy-heard-on-street-joel.html
