1) To date NYU refuses to give the community a frieze like the FDNY has on the side of the fire house closest to 9-11 death toll. You can’t walk by the fire house with out being deeply moved by this powerful frieze but you can easily walk past the NYU owned property because NYU continues to ignore my demand for a frieze large and powerful so no one can walk past the building and not know.
I also demanded community outreach resources in every mega-dorm because they use the term “community facility” to supersize and exclude the community. I was able to confront Mike Bloomberg with this demand on the John Gambling show way back when along with the destructive tsunami of development and Mike’s response --“Just a few people feel the way Suzannah feels”. Well election night Mike got my message. A lot of people feel the way Suzannah does.

Watch a Union Leader and listen to him tell you how for Christmas Mike Bloomberg laid off a union worker, a 58 year old woman who served the City of New York for 21 years and was just short 3 years of her pension!!!!
Mike Bloomberg along with these real estate magnate types like the president of NYU John Sexton who is paid 1.8 million dollars a year (on the books - not to mention perks) have crushed the people of New York with their reckless greed and we have the highest number of deaths from construction, scaffolding and infrastructure related deaths and injuries ever in years because it was about greed and stupidity which is how how many young women that should not have DIED died horrific deaths, today, all those years ago working at The Triangle Shirt Factory!
Today the local rags are talking about Deputy Goldsmith -- not a New York City Worker that made his way up the ranks but some one Mike brought in as usual thumbing his nose at city workers -- today he say he will cut outsourcing not realizing we consider him outsourced and I do not believe this to be true because Gartner’s role in NYC gov has yet to be exposed. Look here and read Sally Goldenberger’s piece on CityTime and Spherion and GARTNER! Gartner agreed to pay Spherion 20 percent of what ever they billed NYC gov to do quality control on Spherion’s quality control of CityTime but oops Spherion consultants were busy stealing 80 million dollars and none of Mike’s many high priced consultants, highly paid execs he brought in to be his deputy mayors caught the massive theft and gauging that was going on with SAIC and CityTime as well and countless consultants but Local 375 and DC 37.
Today’s Triangle Shirt Factory Memorial remembers the women that were beaten just a few weeks early while before their gruesome deaths. They were protesting for better working conditions and the bosses attempted to silence their voices raised in protest and than shortly their after they died tragic horrific deaths. Mike Bloomberg and his gang, even media friends have done their best to silence voices in opposition.
The women that died mostly lived on the Lower East Side and East Village in what we now call NYU-ville because NYU mega-dormed the East Village to death and continues to greatly harm our communities.
Today we continue to witness Mike Bloomberg and his corrupt gang put our lives in jeopardy with dangerous real estate greed and expansion on old NY’s infrastructure; we witness Mike Bloomberg laying off honest and good Union workers before they can collect their pensions as Mike continues to make his friends, his relative’s friends richer and richer with unneeded consultants and quality control experts on top of quality control -- and their jobs is counting tax payer money they are stealing in my opinion.
Today is a day of a great tragedy that must not be forgotten and NYU must put their greed and destruction to our communities on halt for now and forever starting with marking this great tragedy which NYU has to date made practically invisible.
Give us a frieze that will stop people in their tracks and force them to remember.

CityTime -- a flawed system, 911 Tech System -- a flaw system and more is to be exposed under Bloomberg’s watch. Some business man and manager he turned out to be. Can we have a full refund on just these two projects alone? That would be 3 billion dollars right there!
p.s. I have some kind of flu or cold and I am exhausted. NYU mega-dormed the East Village to death and is behind the mass displacement of so many in the area. Today so many that died worked and also lived in the neighborhood where they died such tragically. Shame on NYU
