Like Cy Vance's campaign guy married to Maura Keaney, Keaney worked with Haggerty, Keaney and Christine Quinn get written up by Jim Dwyer in The NY Times for intimidating union members and possibly crossing the line....that is polite for crossing lines that if there was someone actually policing corrupt politicos -- they would be in deep trouble, and Keaney and Haggerty were working for Mike Bloomberg who gave his campaign people lots of money and we the people of NY have no idea where all of it went and Mike doesn't seem to care perhaps because he had an unspoken an agreement do what you want with my money just win me an election.

Anyway, I get this anonymous info that Cy Vance is allegedly guilty of campaign improprieties and it involves paying back Mark Guma who is married to Maura Keaney who worked for Mike Bloomberg and with Haggerty and was exposed with Quinn for being well "bad"....

1 degree of separation and now Cy Vance is looking extra bad not only because he won't prosecute Mike Bloomberg for breaking campaign laws but also because Cy Vance just used the District Attorney's office to help Andrew Cuomo's election allegedly releasing information that legally he or someone in his office was not allowed to release.

What all this dirty dealing is going on the people of NY are being screwed big and bad....the economy is going from recession to depression unless you are Mike Bloomberg's rich friends.   The quality of life is going down as the taxes go up....the streets were better in colonial times.  The subway looks like planet of the apes, over crowded, runs awfully and they are raising the prices?  Mike wants to make harmful cuts to the NYPD and FDNY but never to his over priced campaign staff...while we are making cuts why not cut Scott Stringer or at least make him take public transportation.  Is there any way we can prevent him from running for mayor.  Why do we have to match campaign money for a guy that can't win?  What a huge waste of tax payer money but that's Scott Stringer for you.

If that is true that is twisted and would not be allowed at Bloomberg New just like lowering the NYPD's starting salary would never have been allowed. Remember the NYPD starting salary lowered but city council voted themselves a raise. I emailed suggestions to save the city money and prevent cuts like this. First, Mike Bloomberg must start with his own dept. and cut all his campaign staff. He must be forced to reimburse the people of NY 2 million dollars we are paying for his campaign staff. All city workers must use public transportation except the police commissioner. Scott Stringer needs to take the subway. No slush money. City Council has to pay for their own defense attorneys which would perhaps discourage them from robbing tax payers. City Council must unvote themselves a raise.

Oh my, Wolfson, the man we pay a 6 figure salary for talks.  I thought after he made some contradictory comments on Haggerty & Mike -- the money he would be consulting defense attorneys as well and since Mike put campaign staff on the payroll we have to pay for his defense attorneys as well.  Mike funneled money to Haggerty the previous election as well thru the Rep. party. Cy Vance knows this because I reported Mike to Vance's Public Integrity Hotline and directed him to Ari Ronston's article in NYObserver. I have YouTubes I made on this and blog postings. Ronston says Vance just doesn't have the gumption to do so. Based on Vance releasing the info he did on Haggerty Friday when the gov. election is so close and the media picks it up and erases Mike Bloomberg it seems the powers that be are erasing Mike's role.  Haggerty is innocent. He is at least as innocent as Mike Bloomberg. Bloomberg broke the law by not declaring the 1.1 mill he wired the day before the election but clearly he like so many other corrupt politicians are above the law. I just hope Mike is not billing the tax payers for his lawyers. We should not be paying 2 mill for his campaign staff as he threatens to close fire houses.

I saw this statement in the NY Daily News the other day....sad to think Cy Vance would violate Haggerty's rights and a legal agreement to throw mud on Palladino for Cuomo when any mud belongs on Mike Bloomberg who I believe gave Haggerty free reign to do what he wanted with the money that Mike funneled to Haggerty  the past election through the Indepence Party and the election prior to Haggerty via the Republican party.  I am guessing Mike gave his people freedom to do what they wanted as long as they delivered a win.  He didn't care how humiliating the win, or expensive and clearly declaring expenditures wasn't a priority but unfortunetely not declaring expenses is a Misdemeanor A that carries jail time unless you are king of NY and in Cy's eyes Mike is king and holds the purse strings to his budget.

I am extremely disappointed that Robert J. Duffy, who I once worked with in law enforcement, has decided to trample my client’s right to the presumption of innocence and to a fair trial.   In an effort to take a political swipe at Carl Paladino, Bob Duffy took a cheap political shot at my client.  Duffy’s ill advised attack on my client now guarantees that my client cannot get a fair trial on charges filed by Manhattan prosecutors.

Duffy’s remarks come on the heals of the release by the New York County District Attorney’s Office of notes from an interview with John Haggerty last spring.  At the invitation of the DA’s office, Mr. Haggerty agreed to be interviewed by investigators only after entering into a written contract wherein the DA’s office promised that the interview would not be used against Mr. Haggerty.  The release of excerpts of the interview, which was not recorded, not only mischaracterized what my client said, but the DA’s office has violated the terms of the written agreement thereby prejudicing Haggerty’s rights.  Bob Duffy, who should know better, has intentionally compounded the harm done to my client.

It is ironic to me that press releases issued by the Attorney General’s Cuomo’s Office routinely stress that an individual is “presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty in court”.  It is a sad day for our criminal justice system when a candidate for Lieutenant Governor decides to violate someone’s constitutional rights for his own political gain.

I spent a long time being interviewed by Columbia University graduate Journalism students and they were wonderful.  One woman's voice was beautiful and a collage of many countries.  She was the camera woman and to be in front of the camera she would have to lose that beautiful unusual accent.

They were kind so I gave them as much time as they needed and a copy of  the political poster lampooning you know who, "Mayor Bloomberg King of New York" and they interviewed me on term limits.

NYC voters adopted a limit of two terms for elected city officials in 1993. In 1996, voters rejected a ballot proposal to extend the limit to three terms. What about that did the City Council and Mayor Bloomberg not understand.? Yet, in 2008, under Bloomberg and Christine Quinn's heavy, heavy hand, the City Council (which always votes according the the speaker) changed the term limits law from two to three consecutive terms. This was a disgrace and its far reaching effects of betraying the trust of the people are still not known.

VOTE YES ON TUESDAY on Question 1

Voting YES will bring back the two term limit. It also will PROHIBIT the City Council from altering their own term limits and those of current elected officials. AT LAST - how good is that!!!!!


Voting no will keep the status quo.
So please go to the polls on Tuesday - they are open until 9. Let's take democracy back to the people.


Check out the voting guide you received in the mail recently. Make sure you understand how to mark the ballot because the instructions are apparently incorrect. It is really very easy -- I did it in September at the primary.

The editors of this newspaper will never publish an article about the sex-plotation and violence towards women but takes pleasure in this kind of article and photos. I am not sure I can type some of the words in your piece because of the NY Post word police. I guess you the editors write this for your own special little pleasure and to distract the people from the real corruption that you don't want them to focus on besides the massive economic crisis here in NY unless you are Mike Bloomberg's friends. Christine Quinn protested by Gay and Straight protestors at pre-election rally at LGBT Center

On October 27th, a group of gay and straight New Yorkers held a protest against Christine Quinn at a pre-election rally at the LGBT Center. As usual, we asked NYers to take a critical look at Quinn's shameful record - her campaign & budget corruption, her contemptible human rights and humane voting records, her betrayals of her constituents, her dirty back room deals, including her role in the term limits fiasco, and, as someone recently posted on a blog, "herabandonment of even the pretense of progressive politics."

New people joined our ranks in response to the news this week that Quinn received the lowest score of all Manhattan Council Members on the 2010 Human Rights Report Card published by Equality Justice: http://www.dnainfo.com/20101025/harlem/east-harlem-councilwoman-gets-on-human-rights

Among the many politicians who took our information and/or looked at our posters were U.S. Congresswoman Carolyn Maloney, U.S. Congressman Jerry Nadler, NYS Comptroller Thomas DiNapoli, NYS Assembly Member Deborah Glick, and Andrew Cuomo's running mate Robert Duffy. We also had the chance to thank community activist Yetta Kurland, who is leading the fight in the courtroom and on the streets to restore a much-needed hospital at the St. Vincent's site. Quinn, who should be leading this fight for her West Side constituents, was virtually silent in the months leading up to the hospital closure (see last picture). Is that because the real estate developers who are planning a high-rise condo for the site have given her $29,700 in campaign contributions?

By all measures, this protest was a success. A few highlights:

1. Dozens of people, several of whom were skeptical of us, wanted to engage with us about why we were protesting Quinn. After speaking to us, most took our information.

2. Many people said they already agree with us: "I don't need your handout. I know all about her."

3. A few people suggested that they're willing to excuse her record simply because she's gay.

4. Two people commented that this is the second protest against Quinn they've seen in the past few weeks.

4. Oddly, one person who supports our cause said, "If you want to see her voted out of office, you need to start campaigning against her right now." And here I thought we've been doing that....

Wow, we finally got zoning protection.  Under the Bloomberg reign of greed and stupidity that has so greatly hurt this great city, mass displacement and driven out a record amount of New Yorkers, finally now after the destruction of the East Village we finally got some zoning protection!



I went to bed in the East Village and woke-up in a bad xerox of mid-town turning into a bad xerox of Dubai.    Very guilty people think this is going to some how make up for what they have done but it won't.


Just like some very wrong people have done some very bad things to me -- it will come back to them....patience is required and in every culture around the word there is  a shared belief that what goes around comes around.   People get their's even if it is late in the 9th inning of their lives just desserts will be served.


In the poem I wrote when St. Ann's from 1847 was still standing I tell you about a telephone conversation I had with Amanda the people's Burden.  My brief conversation with her underscored my belief of what a ruthless awful creature she is.  The wicked witch of The East Village and like Bloomberg she kids herself we believe the phone double talk.


St. Ann's from 1847 survived everything all these years but NYU's need and greed to build yet another mega dorm in their quest to mega dorm the East Village to death.  NYU could not get the job down without the help of the USPS which loses a record amount of money, multi-billion dollars  A YEAR!!!!

My maternal grandfather was a mail man in the Bronx but what the USPS has evolved in to is a corrupt organization that abuses their Federal Status and they broke the law when they sold the air space to NYU and did not notify the State of New York as legally required.  Andrew Cuomo is not going to sue the USPS over the air space sale....no siree.   I had a very interesting talk with the head of Environmental  Crimes about the illegal sale and had and Andrew Berman talk.   The USPS is a multi-billion dollar loser a year and they want to kid themselves it is because of email but their customer service makes the Mafia look warm and friendly and they break every law possible blocking fire hydrants and selling air space without notifying the State of NY so the State can examine is this in the best interest but now after the fact, now that Bloomberg and the people's Burden destroyed the neighborhood and neighborhoods through New York they continue to lie and try and kid us they are our heroes.  They will go down in history as destroyers of this great city and Bloomberg flushed democracy down the toilet with the help of Christine Quinn who is in bed with developers because she has sold her soul along with the rest of them....welcome to the greed generation.

It will take many, many years for the city to begin to repair the damage.

Have you ever seen the streets in such bad shape?  They were better in Colonial Times.  What about the record breaking number of infrastructure related problems like man hole covers, gas leaks, sewage break, steam pipe explosions, sink holes galoe, water main breaks.....why?

Because Mike Bloomberg and his socialite city planner Amanda the people's Burden pushed  a reckless tsunami of development on "old" New York's infrastructure.

You just do not know what to believe when the little emperor of NYC speaks. I just made a YouTube yesterday Mike Bloomberg Steve Rattner liars. Mike said we needed him for a 3rd term to help the economy. The economy in NYC is actually worse except for Mike's friend in the real estate and financial sector. Rattner pleaded the 5th more times than Mike Bloomberg has been mayor. According to 2 articles one by Ari Ronston and one by Wayne Barrett, Mike Bloomberg broke campaign laws and that is a Misdemeanor A which carries jail time...a smoking gun, yes?

Charlie Sheen above the law, it is economic racism makes me think of Michael Rawson The Mercer Hotel calling the NYPD on Veteran and Artist Vendors who have been in their spots over a decade being good citizens but what goes on at the Mercer, even outside in the "loading and unloading zone" which is used as private parking

Calling anyone who is rich, a celebrity, a corrupt politician - if you want to break the laws and not go to jail, not be ticketed, for people like Dave Paterson not get indicted over and over, ditto for Mike Bloomberg who did not declare all his campaign expenditures come to NYC which is a Misdemeanor  A and carries jail time --- if you want to be above the law and do what ever come to NYC!

 The manager of the Mercer Hotel Michael Rawson calls the NYPD all the time on Veteran Vendors and artists. Check my blog to see an artist that looks as threatening as Michael Jackson being handcuffed for what trying to earn an honest living and (also on my blog) I have seen Viet Nam Vets ticketed over 3 inches when an Viet Nam Vet that came back survived by 3 inches. The Plaza doesn't harass Vet Vendors and artist but it is obvious that prostitution and other activities go on and the rich, celebrities, politicians are above the law. A mother of two who is a minority was arrested for being a vendor with a license but she in some way violated the Nazi like rules set up to harass vendors and she was taken away in handcuffs but Charlie Sheen and how many corrupt politicians. Soho has become rich and wants all people who aren't swept out of NYC. NYU is trying to put up a massive NYU Hotel and complex from Bleecker to Greene St. that will make the area time square but they need commercial zoning but just like the corrupt rich people that are Mike Bloomberg wannabe's they have their ways to get what they want and it is economic racism. I blame Community Board 2 and City Council as well.   We have over 8 million people and the NYPD are being sent over to police, harass make life as hard as possible for mostly licensed vendors so the NYPD look for any small infraction.  Why not ticket all 8 million plus people for jay walking?  In the meantime heroin is being sold on the streets to kids for $2 dollars and this weekend the death toll was high through out NYC with a murder by stabbing in the East Village and gun murderers throughout the rest of NYC but the rich arrogant people of SOHO has so much clout and pull with the NYPD that the NYPD who are the smallest in number policing the largest number of people in NY is NYC's history and add in fighting Terrorism as well as the job of policing school kids who are so out of control their own parents can't discourage them from not carrying guns and knives to school and I would think the NYPD are too busy to being running down to Soho for Michael Rawson to harass Veteran and artist vendors but no!

This morning a gun man wounds three people on the Lower East Side.  Time to stop harassing Vet Vendors and handcuffing artists and move the NYPD from the Alpha Squad for peddler to fight the guns, knives and drugs killing people.  I believe the community has to work with the NYPD but you can see CB2 is has other priorities and they are the wrong ones.


Community Board 2 looks awful in this as well and it appears a wealthy white community board and a white male well to do manager have NYPD at their beck and call but people who want the violence from guns, knives, drugs can't get that kind of response and why?  The NYPD is the smallest in number ever policing the largest population ever in history and they NYPD and how many units come running on behalf of the Mercer Hotel and by the way 2 Viet Nam vets alerted the NYPD to The Time Square Bomber but in Soho Michael Rawson throws water on them if the NYPD refuse to find some way to ticket them and he did so from the windows of the hotel on both sides of the hotel.




My first postings on Michael Rawson calling the NYPD, I was told that this Charlie Sheen type behavior goes on in this hotel and I am sure it does in all hotels that cater to the rich.


It is awful to know that a manager like Michael Rawson can call the NYPD and get the backing of Community Board 2 and look the NYPD turn a blind eye to Rawson who has according to what Veterans have told me systematicallly harassed them even walking by taunting them and mocking them about calling the NYPD yet the NYPD turn a blind eye to chronic parking violations outside the hotel where it says loading and unloading.


How many people who serve on community boards are confident they are above the law and we did not even vote for them?  The community board is the most undemocratic part of city government but no wonder people want to be rich and or politically connected because you get all kinds of benefits like being above the law.


In my early postings for the Mercer I called for a drug sniffing dog at the front door.


I had an NYPD officer come up to me and tell me the Mercer Hotel -- all the illegally parked cars are allowed to be there but according to the sign "loading and unloading" this is not true.


Was that policeman on the take or was he a public servant in awe of celebrity or did he just think that the rich are above the law.  I do not know.

Capt. Winski has since stopped the harassment but it continues on through the Alpha Unit of Midtown South so those guys answer to Capt. Traynor.

Who has not stopped is Michael Rawson.

When some guys showed up from the 1st Precinct the other day and did not after a lot of talking ticket anyone -- water was thrown out the window from both sides of the hotel.


Also Andre Balazs is listed as the owner.  He just through a party for his ex-wife and I feel very sorry for her even though she is extremely rich because the party he through was to celebrate her good deeds in Africa but here in NYC her husband's hotel manager is viscously harassing Veteran Vets and plenty of them are handicapped many minorities and the artist, any are minorities so her husband's hotel is in my opinion guilty of economic racism and harassment of people that are not rich and do not have the resources of the rich that has become what the new Soho stands for.
