Note: August 14th -- I was told that Sgt. Taunton left out certain blocks but targeted the vendors in front of The Mercer Hotel.
August 15th: I filmed Sgt. Taunton coming back for day 2 of what I call "ticket terrorism" courtesy of Capt. Winski and manager of the Mercer Hotel Michael Rawson who wants his hotel to be ticket proof. Note: After I filmed Sgt. Taunton he did come back later and shake Eric, the 79 year old Korean War Veteran's hand although no tickets were torn up.
The tickets in front of The Mercer Hotel follow the same pattern that I have submitted to Commissioner Kelly's office and Internal Affairs. Say What? Why Internal Affairs? Because Internal Affairs really gets angry about a certain issue and that is parking placards that are not quite koshor and I was able to prove not one officer is willing to look at illegally parked cars when I was and found this and other parking violations.
Of course the 1st Precinct as usual had "blind eye syndrome" when it came to The Mercer Hotel. I wonder how many crimes and violations Sgt. Taunton actually missed because he had a mission.
The vendors got ticketed over petty and wrong reasons that lucky for vendors the Judges are way too familiar with and the tickets are thrown out but it sucks up the Vets and Artist all legal vendors time and energy which is part of the systematic harassment of vendors but of course there was an SUV parked illegally in front of The Mercer Hotel in the loading and unloading zone with no driver or passenger for an extended period of time -- perhaps unloading pixie dust? -- and oh no, there is another car -- same -- deal got both lic no. reported -- will be included in my complaint to Commish Kelly & Internal Affairs against the 1st Precinct and sadly I have to include Capt. Winski who either does not communicate with officers or lets them do what ever they want without consulting him. Who knows?
I am sad. I had sent Capt. Winski the section from the back of Deputy Commissioner Maple's book ( Deputy Commish now in Heaven) that Jack urges people like me to hand in to the commanders and I have done so in the past including to Commish Kelly and another precinct commander who I would give a very positive rating to but now I realize I just wasted precious time.
You need to go to my blog engine and search under The Mercer Hotel.

I had written Capt. Winski a commendation but Sgt. Taunton has made me live to regret my positive action and daring to hope that law applies to everyone rich and poor. If you want to enforce petty laws than enforce them for everyone and that includes the many violations I have photographed on my blog by The Mercer Hotel gang.
Note: For Suzannah B. Troy fans and lovers -- I was on my way to an acupuncture treatment and I missed it. I have some health issues and the treatments really help me.
