C1/1-578605670 Called in illegal parking today at The Mercer Hotel -- business as usual. I do not understand how the NYPD never, ever ticket all the cars illegally parked there but Capt. Winski runs over to ticket Viet Nam Veterans that have every legal right to be there.
Capt. Winski caught a bank robber so he has redeeming qualities -- that is a big one bu a tape measure and tickets for 2 inches and in Viet Nam you might have survived by 2 inches. The Vets will fight those tickets and I bet they will win.
Downtown Sept.11 Firemen told me the survived by mere inches including getting under a fire truck.

My favorite letter.
After you read that letter and you know the courageous man who wrote it never made it home than think of someone like Michael Rawson who walks out of the hotel and taunts our Vets and calls the NYPD on them to wrongly ticket and harass them. The Vets have a legal right to be there.
The good news is super skank Michael Rawson of The Mercer has stopped walking out of The Mercer Hotel and taunting Viet Nam Vets and Korean War Vets or maybe he is just giving his sadistic lack of respect for Vets and anyone he can mistreat in public view a break for now.
DOT contacted me and gave me DEP's email to ask for "No idling" signs outside The Mercer Hotel. DOT does have my request to investigate whether signs have been removed for the one sign on Mercer by Prince that says No Parking.
Although New Yorkers are being ticketed up to their eye balls for just about everything -- The Mercer Hotel parking violators never ever get ticketed.
So far no response from the NYPD to get a drug sniffing dog to the front door, and a gun wand to search for illegal guns like they have at NYC schools...oh well. Not everyone can make the NYPD jump like Michael Rawson of The Mercer Hotel.
I left Michael Rawson a message and in it I ask if he served in the U.S. Army they way the people he harasses did?
Haven't heard back from him and when I do I have to ask him how The Mercer remains "ticket proof".
By the way -- Capt. Winski never returned my call asking to film him when he returned Saturday to ticket the vendors. There was a van of NYPD officers from the 1st Precinct and I asked are you here to harass vendors because I want to put you on YouTube if so.
They said to me no.
I hear they are very nice guys.
After speaking with me they must have gotten instructions from Capt. Winski because any vendor not protected under a yellow ticket -- I think that pertains to be injured in the line of duty was ticketed and that was mostly people one block East of The Mercer Hotel. Of course while that was going on there were parking violations galore inside -- oops (I am sure there is no illegal activity inside) -- outside the hotel and of course the NYPD gave out zero tickets to The Mercer Hotel and guests.
