Deputy Stephen Goldsmith on gay marriage Crain's breakfast
Crain's has the video footage of Stephen Goldsmith's "non-answer" which essentially sounded to me like he is anti-gay marriage.
Deputy Stephen Goldsmith could not be "straight" forward about his stance on gay marriage but he rambled on and on and it sure sounded like he was a homophobe who does not believe in equal rights.
Crain's has not posted any controversial parts of the breakfast so there is just a small clip on their website.

I suggest contacting Crain's New York to ask them to release the video footage and to call City Hall and ask Deputy Goldsmith for his stance on gay marriage.
In fact I am calling mayor Bloomberg's office right now. The number transferred me over to 311 so I guess they won't forward my message. I can try the telephone number for the mayor's office later.
The Deputy was handing out his business cards but not to me for some reason.
There are plenty of straight people that are "gluttons for marriage" having been married 3, 4, 5 times . Where do straight people get off denying gay people the right to marriage?
It is about equal rights.
Note: 8:10 am --- I call the mayor's office. I am transferred to Deputy Goldsmith's office. I leave a voice mail. I made it clear from his hemming and hawing yesterday that he is anti-gay marriage.
I asked him for a "straight" forward answer. Yes or no do you believe in gay marriage? Do you believe in equal rights?
