drugs are gross
I have never done drugs. I have never smoked pot. I was a great athlete. I couldn't imagine doing drugs. My Dad was so strict he would ask me if I had chewed gum and did I brush my teeth!
Drugs were not an option.
I asked some very bright youngsters -- why would people want to sell you drugs?
They got it.
I said yes, dollar signs. Drug dealers look at you and see dollar signs and if they get you hooked it is a meal ticket and it is like a kind of slavery.
We have pharmaceutical companies dealing more drugs legally to people than ever before and tv commercials are living proof of the pedaling and the very frightening side effects.
Remember the non stop commercials for cervical cancer targeting teen age girls which was so sick and wrong. How about educating boys and girls on safe sex. You don't see anymore commercials do you? Is that because too many girls either died or had horrifying side effects.
Dealers -- legalized and illegal will prey on your vulnerabilities, fears, etc. but it all gets down to $ and if they can convince you you need their "stuff" than they have got you.
Better to find all natural highs. Exercise, walk, breathe anything but drugs unless it is for a medical reason where drugs are the only solution. I see some homeless people so violent and crazed I believe mood stabilizers are the answer but putting kids on anti-depressants is just sick and a message all answers are in a pill.
Bottom line it is all big business making people big bucks.
