Here is my posting of the mini-car custom painted street conditions car by the City of NY (tax payer money wasted) and I could not find the staff member.
This time I did!
The gentlemen were from DOT and yes the vehicle up top is theirs!

That huge crater that they are standing near is show at the beginning of my newest in what is a 6 part series.
The problems is what good is DOT resurfacing dangerous street conditions if they infrastructure problems underneath are not resolved yet.
See the NY1 YouTube where at this location we had a medium size water main break in 2007 so that is 3 years ago and DEP has not resolved the problem.
In the meantime someone could break their leg, how can a handicap person get around, when it rans it is worse and on a sunny day it is flooded like today.
They gave me DOT's press contact and I also called DEP's press contact. I am waiting to hear back but in the meantime I will write all the press and ask them to follow up on this and how many infrastructure related incidents we have had city wide post 9-11 from community to community and development as well.
How can you push a tsunami of development without addressing infrastructure which is a safety issue as well as common sense?

In William Yardley's national piece on infrastructure he reported an infrastructure break could resemble a terror attack.
Before this piece was published I had a letter in AM New York "Destroying Old New York", January 11, 2007 warning about infrastructure dangers city wide as well as the East Village.
I also confronted Dan Doctoroff and he had someone from DEP assure me everything was okay.
I had written everyone possible including the Fire and Police commissioners.
Than we had the steam pipe explosion that resembled the terror attack.
MY CONCERN IS THE SAFETY OF THE PEOPLE OF NEW YORK. IT HAS BEEN AND SINCE I WROTE THIS LETTER JAN 11, 2007 I CONTINUE TO POINT OUT WE HAVE THE VERY SAME CONCERNS!!!!!!!!!
