Mike Bloomberg changed DOITT heads as often as his underwear (joke for those without sense of humor/ irony) and they all turned lobbyists or got soft landings except for the one who called for NYC gov to end the contract with HP on 911 tech contract who was like SAIC on CityTime over billing from the get go in my opinion. (They weren't alone...).
The DOITT head that blew the whistle on HP and 911 was shown the door over a conflict of interest (aka retaliation) unlike Steve Rattner, Mike Bloomberg's money manager and BFF and the owner of the New York daily news ditto the owner of the New York Times. Steve pleaded the 5th. 64 times.
( For some reason none of the newspapers will allow me to comment on that... So much for the First Amendment.)
311 may be the second biggest tech Titanic and CityTime the third, 911 number 1 Tech Titanic and despite Mike Bloomberg being forced to admit that John Liu's audit of 911 had merit -- the media continues to protect rather than question the fact -- Bloomberg administration --- if the audit had merit then where's the criminal investigation John Liu asked for?
Scott Stringer who cannot even do his own taxes and got his job as New York City government Comptroller to backroom deals well the first thing he did when he came to power in January was remove John Liu's press release calling for criminal investigation of 911.
If the feds want to get to the truth they have to visit the Dept of investigation and find files of coverups and ignoring whistleblowers CityTime , 911 etc. because there was a pattern here -- that is why there no arrests of New York City government officials starting with CityTime and no criminal investigation into 911.
The Feds would have to go to Office of payroll and they'd have to go to DOITT besides mayor bloomberg and mark pages 's office, Dept of investigation's offices in my opinion Oh yeah my blog is my opinion.
They were whistleblowers it came forward on CityTime and 911 and I'm guessing other tax payer Titanic's. They were ignored. Rose Gill Hearn got to kick back jobs Mike Bloomberg.
Preet was never serious about prosecuting CityTime and proof was he did not cut ties with Rose Gill Hearn and he refused to go back in time to the beginning like 911.
Cy Vance a Bloomberg puppet and dirty DA in my opinion also refused to do his job prosecuting 911 tech corruption. Cy Vance covered up for Bloomberg and Brooklyn Campaign laws/abuse and no investigation into St. Francis Hospital crooks to protect the Rudin acquisition. He also falsely prosecuted/ falsely prosecuting how many protesters as well as my opinion of Goldman Sachs program.
+ I would tell you that Cy Vance must be embarrassed that Mike Bloomberg did finally say that the audit of 911 by John Liu had merit but again the media hasn't questions anyone on that !!!!
++ if the audit has merit where's a criminal investigation. 911 one billion plus tax dollars over budget and no criminal investigation. Sure is lucky for the Bloomberg administration department investigation, DOITT lobbyists consultants etc.
Name the two DOITT officials that turned lobbyists for contractors both on city time and 911. They weren't alone... As we were getting robbed how many DOITT top officials left and prospered hired by companies I allege were openly exploiting New York City tax payer money.
Don't forget the consultants overbilling us and how many with cozy relationships with DOITT?
