Suzannah B. Troy NYC Round-Up: NY won the lost voter turn-out of any state, corrupt dealings MTA SAIC like Bloomberg appointing Black for School Chancellor, Jane Smith's comment on Steve Rattner, Mike Bloomberg a must read, protesting the manager of The Mercer Hotel Michael Rawson throwing water on Viet Nam Vet harassing Veteran Vendors

I called the Board of Elections to find out this information and they said not available until Nov. 30th on their website but clearly the powers that be have access to info and New York State ranks the lowest of any state for Voter Turn-out or lack of turn out!!!!  What any article refuses to address is voters did not turn-out because they were hopeless and truly believed their votes do not count.  We do need open primaries and since we don't have them I converted to democrat instead of Independent so I can vote in the primary.  I want caps on campaign spending as well.  http://cityroom.blogs.nytimes.com/2010/11/16/new-york-state-ranks-last-for-voter-turnout/
Cuomo's victory was a win with NY ranking no. 50 of 50 States winning the award for the smallest amount of voters to come out to vote.  A friend voted for Kristin Davis because he loves "sex workers" but he used Cathie Black's word "hooker" Mike Bloomberg's pick of school chancellor...by the way can we have Mike Bloomberg drug tested?

The battles between the "haves" and "the have-nots" continue to rage and a protest, a 20 minute one is coming to The Mercer Hotel to send a message to Michael Rawson who had water thrown out both sides of the hotel on to Vendors hitting a Viet Nam Vet and an Artist Vendor.  Enough is enough.  Calling all Vets including disabled Vets because some of the Vets are handicapped....and artist are showing up too.

WPIX, Greg Mocker exposes what in my opinion is huge corruption -- a Mike Bloomberg Cathie Black secretive covert move -- the MTA hiring SAIC -- Mocker reveals the deal is done and if SAIC over runs their estimated budget the MTA will not be held accountable so the NY tax payers will be paying the bill.   That means you may pay 2.50 or more for a ride plus a massive tax hike to pay for SAIC. Watch my YouTube SAIC, Who's your pimp?

I made it through the NYTimes censors but I did not get to write what I really wanted.  Read Jane Smith's letter....it is amazing she made it through their censors!!!!!!

Andrew Cuomo is keeping up the heat on Steven Rattner.
Letter to the NYT on Rattner

Jane Smith
New York, NY
November 15th, 2010
Steve Rattner's new book has a chapter praising the work of the now defeated Republican candidate for New York State Comptroller, Harry Wilson. If he had not lost the election and assumed this role, Mr. Wilson would have served as the sole trustee of the NYS Pension Fund, the exact resource that Rattner is accused of misusing by AG Cuomo and the SEC. Steve Rattner enthusiasm shopping Wilson to his Wall Street and political contacts thru the campaign is well known. The New York Times was bold in its support for Wilson, on both the editorial pages and what was supposed to be their journalistic coverage (how many times in one article is it appropriate to mention a Harvard pedigree?). It should also be noted that not only does Rattner manage the funds of Mayor Bloomberg (also a supporter of Wilson's, go figure!) but the Times' own Arthur Sulzberger is a close personal friend and receives financial advising from Rattner. If that is not considered a journalistic breach- I don't know what is. I hope AG Cuomo holds Mr. Rattner accountable for the entitlement and misdeeds he participated in, and the Times comes clean on their role in covering this story
