NYPD Abuse of Power Let's Look at the 5th Amendment re: fixing Violent Assault using false cross complaint coercion

As I prepare my case I want to look at the 5th amendment.  I wanted to look at the aspect that

Just startling we are losing hospitals, fire houses shuttered and Bloomberg and his corrupt pals with their media buddies continue to push reckless development as our infrastructures shutter and collapse....all types of infrastructures.... from water main breaks like the huge one in the Bronx to Democracy which Mike Bloomberg and his mini me, ms. slush and intimidation, Christine Quinn flushed down the toilet to protect their and their pals greedy biz dealings including real estate, tech, financial sector, etc.

We bail out banks but not hospitals.  Well guess what banks, pay back your bail-outs!  The crooks oops big@#**$($(  got mega bonuses and luxuries galore as we face communities with no hospitals, over crowded schools for kids, etc.

Pay back the bail-outs and arrests the crooks...

You want to solve the USA deficit....arrests the crooks starting with gov. officials, the crooks that made the global markets implode, sub-prime mortgages collapse, etc. make them pay and serve time...that would discourage further crime.   Stop the fix is in no really bids considered ...

The lead person "the star" gives one of the most powerful performances I have ever seen in my life. If I voted on Oscars here in American I would vote for this person. I do not want to give anything away and I do not recommend this film to everyone because of the violence. It will mean more to you if you use your brain and think and your heart and feel. I could see people enjoying it for the darker aspects which require neither. Well done film just I did not enjoy it but great acting, great support cast. Well done. Time Square Bomb Scare & NYPD Bomb Squad history

First and foremost highest praise for the NYPD for their response and handling of what appears to be some kind of crude amateurish bomb that could have  harmed innocent people if it had gone off.    A t-shirt vendor heard some suspicious noises and alerted police and highest praise for a civilian coming forward. Here in NYC we have signs in the subways and else where always alerting us if we see something suspicious to alert the NYPD and in this case someone did just that and helped prevent would could have been a terrible tragedy. I am signed up on the Notify NY program with the City of New York so I get a text messages and emails alerting me but it gave no details, just police activity and that the area was closed off.  The t-shirt vendor alerted police at 6:30 but I got my text, May 2 at 12:50AM, still I am glad to get it and glad Notify NY is up and working.  I wrote Commissioner Kelly asking if the NYPD could actually have a more extended notification system than this, that alerts New Yorkers about crimes that could help us to be even safer and give info if the NYPD need help catching a criminal by texting the people a description.  I am critical of the mayor for denying us a referendum and pushing a reckless tsunami of development but as far as 311 which needs work in terms of the city actually solving problems rather than answering calls and Notifying NY,the ideas are good, both need work. Also here in NYC the 911 system has been overhauled,  called the UCT Dispatch System  and there are major problems especially alerting the FDNY and EMS  that still need addressing but last night all was good and every system worked as it should thank goodness!!! Today thankfully we have a happy ending.  The NYPD are going to find the person responsible I am sure and that person will be spending some quality time in jail.  Thank goodness no one was hurt and many people that were there so see Broadway shows got first hand New York City Street Theatre for free. I have been told that Lt.  Joseph (Giuseppi) Petrosino created The Bomb Squad and he did so because he was fighting the Black Hand who were setting off explosives here in NYC.  

I found this comment posted to back up what I was told by an NYPD officer after 9-11 and also what I have read in the internet.

Lt. Petrosino's memory lives on in infamy. He was responsible for forming the NYPD Bomb Squad along with being the leader of the "Italian Squad". Lt. Petrosino went after "The Black Hand" and early form of the "Mafia" as we know it today. He stood for all that is good about Italian-American's and gave his life defending his belief. I have had the privilege to meet and work with his Granddaughter who is director of Bishop Kearney high school in Brooklyn's 66 Pct. May we never forget his ultimate sacrifice. God Bless.

Petrosino.   An Italian film maker is making a new film about him but there are have been others including a Hollywood film starring  Ernest Borgnine playing Lt. Petrosino called "Pay or Die".

In this YouTube I show you an NYPD pin I was given with Lt. Petrosino's badge number.  I treasure this pin and I thought I lost in Grand Central Station.  The pin had fallen in to my bag and a kind man got on his hands and knees along with me to help  find the back of the pin which he did as many people busily past us.

As usual always tired and always in a rush. I am actually trying to heal the exhaustion and burning throat pain, post Sept. 11 and did a saliva test in the wee hours this morning to be Fed Exed when as usual, never a dull moment....an Angel tapping my shoulder...

I dropped my wallet without knowing it. A young man followed me in to Washington Square Park and gave me my wallet back. I was so stunned. I thanked him. I asked him his name. Paul.

He had a back pack, I think, and a large law book. I asked him, "Are you an NYU student?" He said yes. I told him NYU destroyed my life. (I didn't elaborate. NYU mega dormed the East Village to death. Hilly Kristal owner of CBGB's felt the way I do about NYU and it wasn't just the East Village.)

He said sorry. He was so kind. I said you are my angel. I have to hug you. I hug him and shook his hand.

It is so amazing for so many reasons but one was I was holding a letter I was about to mail to Norman Siegel, an NYU Law student graduate and also one of my angels.

Mike Bloomberg is rushing a big tax break bill to Albany so we can have more tv and movies filmed here and I say HEY WHERE IS THE TRICKLE DOWN?   Employee as many homeless, needy down and out people rather than turn them out of our parks or public spaces.  If you park in front of a struggling small business buy everything you can in their store and help help help -- most people the film businesses inconveniences with constant filming in our neighbhorhoods are struggling and don't have the benefits, vacations, etc.   Just like every Mike, it has been over the top difficult for regular people.   I don't believe the struggling people of NY are feeling the trickle down.   If the community board gets a donation than a complete accounting of the donation and how every penny is spent most be on the community board's website.  (If you don't know what a community board is I can tell you it is the most democratic part of city government with people representing you that you did not vote for and sadly most people do not know when and where they meet or they have written them off because they don't feel they represent the community.)

ps  Deep down I must want to be a stand up comic.  I made New York's Finest laugh today.

I asked them where a certain street was and one young officer pulled out a gadget to look the street up.  I confessed I had an iphone and I could do the same thing.  I didn't tell them what a pain it would be!   His partner told me he wants to get an iphone.  I made a face and said the iphone is like high maintenance boyfriends, a lot of work!  He said you must be dating the wrong guys.  I asked them, really do you think there is anything out there but wrong ones?  I mean are there any good ones out there that are single?  These young men were convinced there are good ones and they are in the NYPD.  I told them I am almost 47 which they didn't believe.  Give them a raise!  And that I want someone younger, lets say 45, no, 44 to 39, no 37, I just had them laughing.   I remained cynical but I appreciated their youthful optimism.

Now a FDNY story, on Lafayette Street, I saw this very concerned young woman attempting to rescue a Dalmatian moseying along the sidewalk unescorted .   I walked up to her and pointed to the firehouse.  She was so embarrassed.  I said don't be.  I appreciated her caring and the dog's many owners (big buff firemen)  lounging on the front of the fire truck not to far from their mascot out on the sidewalk.  The firemen  had no idea about 20 feet away a young woman was about to rescue their dog!

I find the streets of New York were more fascinating and entertaining than television any day!
