A Wink and A Smile The History of Burlesque
First anybody looking for a cheap thrill, do not rent this film which is excellent. The audience that I believe could most appreciate this gem are women, some sensitive minded men and anyone who loves campy burlesque! This is not about "T&A" so if that is what you are looking for I would not recommend this film for you. One of my favorite performers is only seen for a couple of minutes posing as a male stripper and when he gets down to his undies, what he is packing to define his manhood had me laughing!!!! This is a sensitive film about body image and my belief women come in one size, BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!
I wrote the review above for ITunes and the documentary website is for adult -- for mature audiences and I know my cyber stalkers as well as stalked and obsessed with me (yes Lincoln Anderson who I have an aggravated harassment complaint filed against along with EVblogger69@gmail.com that answers email for Anderson and The Villager owned by John Sutter and ex-employee of the villager Bob Arihood. There will be more on this later....and because of the gang I prefer you google this film to find their website and clips from the film which will give you an idea how lively this documentary but not the more sensitive, emotional issues as well as gender and sexual politics.
You see folks adult sites have warnings depending on what state in the USA you live in and there are reasons but more on that later as well....
For open minded people intrigued by the unusual or just the history of Burlesque and the boundaries explored by women and men that perform.... check it out....
