Uh Oh is 9th Precinct giving Pastor Dunn a hard time over mega-phone?

I don’t know.   I just get phone calls and I can only guess that like a leap year -- x amount of time --- the NYPD every so often give Pastor Dunn a hard time -- and rumor is  she was told  to get a 40 dollar permit to use her mega-phone....over the years I hear her fire and brime stone speeches are a major turn-off that poor folk endure for the food but her intentions are good.

Who knows maybe it is a good thing?    Anyway the best thang is feeding folks in needs and she has done that for years through thick and thin...

NYPD Rape Cops -- Cab Driver Testifies she was drunk incapacitated

These NYPD officers preyed on her.  They did not call 911.  This was like a wounded animal they could play with, visit over and over -- they lied even recording lies in to their log, they did so many things wrong and they have their defense attorney trying to sell it is okay to kiss a woman’s shoulder?

They found a beautiful barbie they could play with and they did instead of calling for an ambulance.

She would have hopefully been safer in a hospital although you never know.

9th Precinct 2 cars looking for a thug?

I wish we had more police visit the park because Tompkins is drug city.  Also many people that should be in mental institutions or old age homes kind of live there.  I have compassion for them but as they grow older some are growing more violent.

The NYPD did not find whom ever they were looking for in the park.

homeless person East Village tells me You are right

This person has no money or internet access....doesn't follow my blog but did listen to a conversation of mine a while back...

The homeless are often seen "as invisible" meaning not seen and the NYPD are known to turn to them to try and find information.

I was told I am right.

Told -- not going to gossip but I am sure the reference was to a conversation heard about someone who is twisted and sick.

I said here are a couple of bucks.

I was told I did not ask you for anything.

Yes, I said but here and it was only a couple of bucks.


Even if it takes years -- I hear this a lot.

Yesterday Karen was told to move by a plainclothes police officer from the 9th Precinct

I asked Karen for his name. She said the plainclothes police officer never offered his name or showed his badge to her. A police officer must identify himself and that includes plainclothes officers. He was with uniformed officers from the 9th Precinct. I told her next time to make sure to get names and badge numbers.

Karen served in the military and because she is a vet, she applied for a vendors license and she did show it to the officer. She has a right to be there.

Karen asked why did she have to move? The plainclothes officer, a big husky guy, said he had a complaint about her. Karen doesn't know who complained. He told her it was about garbage. Karen said she did not understand why she had to move. She always cleans up any garbage around the area. The plain clothes officer said "Because I said so." She was upset. He said she could come back tomorrow. We don't understand but we are all keeping our eyes open and wondering.

I have a previous posting from months ago showing Karen sweeping the street. We have many witnesses who will attest to the fact Karen sweeps the streets actually far beyond the sidewalk where she sets up. She goes beyond the call of duty helping to clean up the area. I spoke with someone who works across the street. She was stunned. She said Karen is always there. It just evokes a bad feeling amongst the community.

Karen said, people from the bank in front of where she sets up often come out and thank her for cleaning up the mess out there which is not caused by Karen. Karen is well liked by many people and she had to move because "Love Saves the Day" was forced out along with so many small businesses. It is like Mike Bloomberg is making a "clean sweep" and he doesn't bother with one way tickets like he did with the homeless.

I have stood up for the NYPD when I can because I admire their heroism and good deeds that many might take for granted. Some actions by NYPD officers are not excusable like the reports of the "rape cops" from the 9th Precinct. The victim has picked up and left the neighborhood.

What does that say when women leave the neighborhood because they don't feel safe and in this case because of the officers that are supposed to be protecting you?

When Charles Barron demanded Commissioner Kelly step down, I wrote a letter published in AMNY saying Commissioner Kelly must stay. What I did not state in the letter is after a commissioner like Bernie Kerik, someone as rock solid as Commissioner Kelly is needed.

I had a letter published in The New York Times asking for a sizable raise for the NYPD. I went to the 9th Precinct Community meeting and I went to talk about the brutal rape and murder of Imette St. Guillen and nightlife concerns but I stated the NYPD needed a raise and with that, constant reform and change which includes better community relations.

Karen has an assistant, a local character. He was visibly upset. He said with all the crime around here why aren't they police working to stop the crime on the street instead of bothering us.

Edgar says drinking is his prison

The 9th Precinct was very kind to Edgar last night. He was so drunk they did not ticket him but sent him to the hospital. The NYPD were being kind because Karl had told me of being handcuffed to the bed at the hospital when he was not as lucky as Edgar.

Edgar studied the mind and was a psychoanalyst. He made the mistake of falling in to drinking and it has destroyed his life. Yesterday he had just gotten out of rehab. His hands and feet are swollen so I fear he has a systemic infection. He is a good and kind man.

I talk to him about my life. He is fully updated. He likes Mike Bloomberg and I don't.
