Frank Serpico Attacks NYPD Hero Joe Sanchez Subject of my YouTube Documentary
I dubbed Joe Sanchez the Hispanic Serpico because he blew the whistle on 2 supervisors to Internal Affairs and Internal Affairs turned the tables on him. Sound familiar?
You can't name one cop who blew the whistle who didn't leave the NYPD as damaged and or a victim of retaliation.
I wanted People to know Joe's story and in YouTubeland you have under 60 seconds so I dubbed him Hispanic Serpico.
I would not compare the two now that Frank Serpico has taken back his friendship and support of Joe Sanchez like a slum lord takes decent affordable housing from poor folks -- one wonders if Serpico has a Christ Complex and if you aren't praying at his altar you have no value but Frank Serpico visited Joe and there are warm photos of Serpico with Joe and Joe's loyal wife Lorraine. Unlike Serpico who was single, Joe after being set-up by Internal Affairs and taking a bullet to his career still had to support his wife and 4 small sons. (I posted a CCRB complaint on scribd.com against 2 IAB officers that tried to set Joe up and a copy of the complaint was given to Joe but a fellow NYPD officer that wanted to help Joe. The CCRB complaint breeds to be like two internal affairs officers took a guy hostage trying to get him to say that Joe and his partner were crooked cops when in fact they weren't. https://www.scribd.com/doc/220146566/NYPD-Internal-Affairs-1982-Accused-of-Detaining-Victim-Trying-to-Force-him-to-Frame-NYPD-Hero-Joe-Sanchez-CCRB-Complaint-Form This CCRB complaint is aprox 30 years old and I can confirm CCRB and internal affairs are as corrupt now as way back when. I am suing the DA, IAB, NYPD, Ray Kelly, Bratton and their Chiefs of IAB. I held up this CCRB complaint form when I testified at a public hearing slamming CCRB's handling of my case.)
Getting back to Frank Serpico, Serpico in so many words, I hear calls Joe a liar.
I interviewed many retired NYPD and 2 NYPD officers that worked in Internal Affairs including 1 internal affairs Lt that investigated Joe and found there was nothing substantiated. You can hear the interviews on YouTube.
The NYPD I met with didn't know about Joe meeting with Internal Affairs. They saw Joe in the flesh that night and confirmed he was never alone. He did nothing wrong.
I have their interviews on YouTube.
If you see a photo of Joe as an NYPD officer you will see quite a rack of medals.
I got Joe to FOIL his file and he is going to film what he received down in Florida.
I have asked Joe to follow up and request any info not shared in his file.
I have a series of health issues including Fibriod Tumors that are causing me discomfort and I am staying in NYC. I have 2 legal cases and actions beginning early Feb.
The file only has nice things to say so what ever "hurdle" is in Joe's file preventing him from getting an honorable reinstatement has not being shared.
Why would the NYPD legal department withhold any information that would explain what stands between Joe Sanchez and an honorable reinstatement all these years later. Why send him his file with only glowing things to say?
