Election Boards in the Southern Tier have been getting calls from the Governors office to instruct election officials not to offer up any advice when the ballot is handed to them. The expectation is many will not turn over the paper ballot, missing the propositions. This action is to suppress the southern tier vote that is expected to overwhelmingly choose No on prop 1. Call the Tioga county elections officials, its true.
The Governor and his lemming supporters are hoping we all fall off the cliff and don’t vote our NO vote on Prop 1. I have voted for every Cuomo on the ballot in New York State over the years, and I voted for the current one. I strongly regret that vote! His father was right on this issue when he was governor. Shame on him for changing because his son wants to prey upon the citizens by sanctioning non-Indian casinos in the State–the citizens he was elected to protect. The current Cuomo governor obviously doesn’t even care that he is dragging his father into this as a last-ditch effort. Sometimes David wins! Let’s make sure this Goliath is put in his place. Help protect our State from these predators who are trying to suppress the vote. Vote NO on Prop 1.
I just received the robo call and couldn’t help but laugh. This guy must be desperate. As a former MC I will be voting no. I hope all of the rest of you will will send him a message and also vote no.

Unfortunately the casino’s attract people the less fortunate that don’t have two nickels to rub together and think they are going to hit it rich or the older seniors spending their pensions. Where is all the money the lottery was supposed to bring in for schools. Low paying jobs if any and just look at Atlantic city what happens to our cities and towns where full blown casinos are located….I will be voting no way!!!
