Is it just me that is finding that dropping an IPhone 4 can mean broken glass?  I am a huge Apple Lover, but is there another fatal flaw with the IPhone 4 besides the antenna?  I am talking about the glass screen with the slender new box like shape being a possible flaw because I keep having mine shatter.   The picture you see here is a tiny glass break but click here to see the previous IPhone 4 where I show you the major broken glass and other catastrophes in my Apple world.

Apple, I believe will replace your phone if you bought it from them for $199.00 if you have Apple Care but double check with Apple.  Apple is not selling cases right now and I am waiting for my delivery from Otter Box.  I bought The Defender to protect against things like this happening but they are hugely popular and in demand so I did not get the delivery soon enough sad to say.  Here is a video and the bummer is I just get exhausted just watching the video that instructions....

All I can say is getting something like The Defender for your Iphone 4 is like a condom with a superb lover...it is a must even if you don't want to wear protection, it is the wisest move you can make.

I converted to Apple 3 years ago and I feel hard.  They customer service is outstanding, their design flaws forgivable because they are so outstanding for so many reasons.  I do have suspicions about design flaws for IPhone 4 including the glass but I love this phone the best.  It is not as beautiful design wise as the 3GS but it's camera and video is so much better.   I love Apple.

John Sexton does own a house in NY, big fat cat developer? & slave to my cats

I find it hard to escape NYC which is a huge problem.  So I thought I would try and escape for barely 24 hours.  When I came home and by the way I couldn't decompress from NYC stress there were hair balls and a pile of poop left as a message to me that my departure was not appreciated.

On to much bigger fat cats.....I did not go to the Hamptons.....but I was typing away furiously, attempting to eat and drink and keep an eye out for transportation back to Manhattan when a big fat developer cat? perhaps attached himself to me.   He asked me how I got the wifi -- I said I paid for it.  He talked of trying to get it for free.  He was impressed with my work ethic so much so he repeated that how I smart I looked with my reading glasses which I can't find right now.  My eyes ache....I am exhausted and I have to say it is getting harder and harder to see -- a bummer -- getting old is not for sissies -- so true....

So he kept talking to me as I wrote -- and he never asked me what I was writing....I was writing a piece I did not post on this blog about the murder of Issidore Philip Tisson and all the senseless murders here on the streets of NYC but this guy just went on and on about how bored he was and maybe he should go to the Hamptons.  Now that is serious!  I imagine he would have been quite bored in the Hamptons...we ever you go, there you are.

The entire time I typed away, half listened except to ask him a question about real estate -  his basically and boy did I unlock a chest of info that lucky for him I did not stop and type down -- a slew of real estate and than from there he went on to praise Mike Bloomberg.  Than it came out -- my stance. He said if there were people like me Rockefeller and Lincoln Center would not exist and he praised NYU and Colubmia University community crushing development.  Who cares about the little people....but he did not use those words.  For some reason he blurted out where John Sexton the President of NYU, that earns close to 2 million a year that loves to beat down our communities law suits has some beach house won't mention the location.....I suggest prime real estate in Hell for John Sexton for destroying our neighborhood including the tear down of St. Ann's.

I was able to take a man that was close to flat lining -- seriously barely a heart beat and get him  to stop slouching and whining about how bored he was.  He stop up like a huge ape....his face turned red said his words and than ran away from me but some where it all that he divulged Sexton, the pres. of NYU owns a house here in NY.  Why would I care?  John Sexton ran down to City Hall that we must have Mike Bloomberg for a third term but I always wondered if John Sexton could even vote here in NYC.

I wondered how much real estate a guy like John Sexton owns and if like so many mega rich people that support Mike Bloomberg, that Sexton claims another state with a lower tax bracket as his real home...oh his home rather than the city that John Sexton has crushed with soulless mega-dorms that have displaced and crushed our communities.....just wondering...

Even trying to escape for less than 24 hours I could not escape.  How funny I pay for Wifi and a rich developer fat cat suggest ways to get it for free.

Despite my cats missives I am more than happy to be home.


For long term followers of this blog, remember I went to Italy to stay at a friend's home in a place where there no Americans so when I finally got to a tourist spot the first conversation I heard was from Americans that were talking about John Sexton and NYU.  I joined the conversation. I was told both the presidents of NYU and Columbia University started out as nice guys that completely lost their way and over real estate.  That both presidents were in a wild competition with each other and even used real estate to lure faculty to their universities.

In my opinion higher ed in NYC has become about higher greed when it comes to NYU, Cooper Union, Columbia University, NY Law for their mega-dorm on East 3rd Street, The New School to name a few that have exploited real estate under Bloomberg and the people's Burden Amanda Burden.

The Haggerty trial could be Mike Bloomberg's Watergate if Haggerty decides to spill the beans.  I was at the forefront of the "Bloomberg No Third Term" resistance and mysterious things started to happen to my YouTube account like countless comments by "Bloombergforlife" and when I removed them a torrent of YouTube messages to everyone that had ever commented on my YouTubes. Than all my YouTubes, 343 YouTubes were removed a month and a half before the election to close to call. Norman Siegel and many activists, friends and film makers contacted Google on my behalf and my work was restored.  After the election which Mike Bloomberg barely won, Tony Avella, a mayoral candidate's identity was stolen and used on YouTube to contact me and the stolen identity "TonyAvella" bragged about celebrating with Mike at the Sheraton.  Identity theft is serious, violating YouTube and Googlle's terms of agreement including stealing other YouTube member's identities is serious.  My point is king Mike so far has been very luck so little of his campaign dealings have not been fully looked at and investigated.  It is worrisome  that Bloomberg holds the purse strings to Cy Vance's department and also another possible conflict of interest is that Maura Keaney worked with Haggery and Maura Keaney is married to Mark Guma who I believe Cy Vance's is working hard to pay back a campaign debt to. It is like six degrees of separation but really one degree and it may be a conflict of interest.

  Let's see a judge ruled in favor of a corrupt politician's goal to wrongly tax the American Indians? The American Indians are not responsible for NY State's budget crisis but corrupt, stupid and greedy politicians are. Albany has yet to balance the massive budget crisis. I hate cigarettes but if you want to help small businesses than lower the tax and you will stimulate the economy but Bloomberg and Paterson want to make is as hard as possible to buy cigarettes, scapegoat the American Indians, violate treaties and force New Yorkers to go else where to buy smokes. Bloomberg has made it cheaper to buy heroin on the street I am told for 8 dollars. Racism -- blame an entire group for what small businesses tanking and why gov Paterson are they tanking because Albany and City Hall has made it as hard as possible to have a small business. Paterson thinks he is going to help the economy but wrongly trying to enforce collecting a tax that is violating treaties with the American Indians and our government? Shame on Paterson and he should redirect his energies to getting the budget balanced due April 1, 2010.

Earth to whom-ever wrote this...NYU and all the universities copying NYU like a bad xerox have recognized the big bucks they make from real estate grabs, zone busting using the term high ed and they jam pack as many college kids in to this dorms like the one John's parents tearfully visited yesterday to pick up her belongs. The colleges are greedy and use NYC and the "Friends" fantasy to lure kids here and give them zero tools but worse encourage partying big time. It is a joke. Why does the NYPD have to be responsible for every aspect of failings of people that refuse to take any responsibility and real estate magnates posing as high ed. I have asked NYU to actually hire NYPD to speak to kids about how to protect themselves including from date rape drugs being dropped in to their drinks, to always having a sober friend, etc. NYU and other Universities are responsible for mass displacement for their real estate grabs and the college kids are an after thought. NYU tore down St. Ann's at 120 E. 12 -- take a look and see the new hideous NYU mega dorm jammed packed w/college kids. The dorm will shock you and exposes the corrupt ruthless greed that has destroyed our neighborhoods and for what, why? Big bucks, real estate greed and party central. Even Bloomberg pushes be time partying and these real estate grabs for mega dorms favoring college kids partying on. 

Roger Clemens A Wake-Up Call? by Suzannah B. Troy

Roger Clemens in his most natural pure state is a great athlete who needed no extra boosts although he convinced himself he did. His mental strength on the pitching mound can be seen in the court house as described in a well written piece by Mike Vaccaro in The New York Post. I point this out because in The New York Daily News there is a piece with the words "voluminous evidence".  Actually the title is, "Ex-Yankee pitcher Roger Clemens  pleads not guilty to perjury but Feds have 'voluminous evidence' and sums up the entire story.

Roger Clemens needs to make a very long list of all the good deeds he has done and I am sure there are many and throw himself at the mercy the powers that be.  Clemens needs a wake-up, a reality check but all the tools that helped me to be a great pitcher like steely calm on the mound and mental toughness are helping him to dig a hole so deep he won't be able to wiggle out of.  I wrote in my Naomi Campbell post on the Blood Diamonds, super models don't go to jail.  Roger Clemens does not have have the Naomi Campbell luck and at the rate she is going she is going to run out of luck.

When celebrity believe their own celebrity and that they are above the law at some point they are in for a harsh awakening and Roger Clemens has clearly not hit that point yet.

Babe Ruth, Thurmon Munson are among my favorite Yankees and I can't imagine either of them doing anything foolish to have a competitive edge.  In fact Babe Ruth seemed to do just the opposite.  His Yankee coaches had to ask him to stop eating in the dug-out as I recall reading a biography.  Babe Ruth hardly ate the breakfast of champions, trained like an obsessed athlete trying to break records at the Olympics.

I do think that baseball statistics will have to be reported differently with an "S" after any athlete that has been proven to have used steroids any other letters to indicate any other enhancing edge that was not kosher.   Looking around at a lot of professional athletes and Hollywood actors it appears to me that they are using illegal substances to make their bodies look and perform beyond Mother Nature's gifts and for me it is creepy.

I have even greater admirations for athletes male and female who achieved their goals naturally and honestly and did not crack to the pressure of wanting to win so badly they would cheat.

Getting back to Clemens....he hold hard and fast to his "not guilty" plea to perjury and this is the worse pitch of his life.

Bravo. Doug Biviano is running against Joan Millman to fight corruption in 52nd district Brooklyn. His YouTube throw the bums out was removed from YouTube. He visits NBC, NY1, NYTimes, NY Post and NY Daily News. An employee of NBC was told by a "friend" his face could be seen for 7 seconds in this 10 min. YouTube. This security guard NBC has another title for his job consulted NBC lawyers after his "friend" alerted him and filed a complaint against this tube that starts out pointing out Zenger went to jail in the 1700's for saying the British gov.'s administration was corrupt. NBC doesn't have local news at 5PM. We need reporting not censorship of challengers.

Tiger Woods won't say he loves his ex?

Tiger Woods will not answer questions if the question is "Do you love your ex-wife?" which he was asked quite a bit by Andrea Peyser of The New York Post until she was escorted  out of The Barclay Tournament.  Lucky for her, she was not stoned but sports bloggers came very close to doing so.

In theory it is none of our business but when Tiger Woods made himself over in to a multi-billion dollar brand and he used photos of his wife and children to express a wholesome family man image than he opens the door to these questions.  Acting like a bachelor  porn king and not a devoted family man, giving mistresses millions of dollars pay-outs and a very large undisclosed amount to his now ex-wife does leave some people, not me wondering.

As an adult child of divorced parents here is unsolicited advice to Tiger Woods or whom ever his handlers are.  Tiger, when reporters or anyone ask you, "Do you love Elin Nordegren?"  The answer is a no-brainer.

The answer is "Yes!"   She is the mother of our children."  That simple.  Why would I say that.  Not for your world wide audience of fans Tigers but for your kids.

As they grow up their peers may taunt them like throwing DVDs of porn parodies at them or taunt them saying your father did not love your mother.

Tiger tainted his reputation, his career and hurt his family  That was all Tiger's doing with the help of his enablers -- alleged friends.  My gut feeling is he has still not taken full responsibility and his silence when asked about if he loves Elin is just another clue.  Any fan that comes to his defense is not helping him.  He put himself in the global media's head lights and that helped fuel his fortune and now he has to take responsibility or not.  He could buy Hugh Hefner out and take-over his crown and scepter.  It is his call and his choices but Woods can't escape the glare of the media spotlight; I believe it is his cocaine.  He could walk away and live a quiet life and he doesn't.  If he wants to play golf and be a brand he has to stand up and take responsibility and smarten up.

Tiger, it is a simple answer to a simple question and you answer it for your two children.  Yes, I love my ex-wife.

By the way Tiger if you want to pay me for my words of wisdom you would have to pay a lot more than you paid women to be silent.  Good luck and err on the side of love for children's sake.

A note of praise for Elin Nordegren.  In my blog piece posted here asking if the "old Tiger was back sexually?" I had written I hope she does something good to help others.  I read some where she is going to do something wonderful with some of that money and it may be centers to help people that have gone through the trauma of emotional issues from family breaks up, etc.  I wish I had a link for you but the center and I hope there will be more than one will be in Florida.  Bravo Elin.

If Tiger wants to move the healing process forward share the love and gratitude for the mother of his two children to the world who has looked in from their very birth on.

  In what way is a water main break that's a block away from the building a direct fault of construction? The only construction that was performed recently at Cooper was the demolition of an old Cooper building, and the construction of a new one. I really don't see how they're encroaching on the neighborhood or pushing people out of their homes by rebuilding on their own property. Why is it the responsibility of a private school to maintain a subway? That's the jurisdiction of the government.

Mayor Bloomberg and DOB are being sued round 2 for tossing out the requirement that the head of DOB actually have an architectural or engineering degree. Since I made this YouTube the building has been put on halt for 2 years and I was told right here but a CU engineering student I was correct. I took a peek at her schedule which is impressive and left me tired....I do not know how she does it! She will be playing at Madison Square Garden Feb. 21 and 22nd.

I don't own an album of Lady Gaga's. Do young people even use the word album anymore but the Vanity Fair article where she also graces the cover really intrigued me! I have written some pieces on her that seem popular like "Lady Gaga was that you?" and her is the first one I wrote about her vachina reference.

Lady Gaga has sky rocketed to fame and that is understating her meteoric success and even if I don't own an album I want to hear what she has to say. It is said she is going to be bigger than Madonna and she has a far better voice.

As someone almost double her age (not quite) I am interested how she evolves....This tweet about rainbow roads and how much she loves NYC and her fans inspired me to follow her on twitter.

IPhone 4 Lovers Tips From Suzannah B. Troy

Apple IPhone lovers what ever IPhone model you have here are some basic tips from an Apple lover. I converted to Apple 3 years ago and fell hard.

Tips to save your battery.... Go into your settings and.....

1) Make sure your Wi-Fi is turned off is you are not using it. In NYC if you have it on and walk around you will drain your phone's battery which ever model you have so turn the Wifi off. In NYC walking down the street it can be hilarious to shocking to read the locals Wifi network custom names' all mostly with locks.

2) lower the brightness of your screen...big battery savor.

3) Not using the phone turning it off is a good thing because the phone works best if you give it a rest occasionally but if not just click the button on the right once and the screen goes dark and saves your battery. This is the same button if you hold it down long enough it gives you a prompt to shut off the phone.

4) Mail: If you are really are concerned about your battery than go to mail, click "fetch data" and and switch to manual.

5)  Just another reminder...if your Iphone appears to be sluggish....double click the round mound at the base of our iphone "home key" and you will see all the Apps you have open.  Surprise!!!!!  There are a lot of Apps open.


Those are just a fun few tips and for my Mac Book I bought techno-skin at the Apple store and that was a great move. My senior citizen handicap cat walks all over my computer and or has hair balls including on my computer keys so the techno-skin has radically improved my life. All her hair is no longer sinking down in between my computer keys and my cat wants me to tell you no more debris from my Cadbury chocolate bars splatters on my key pad. Highly recommended

Judge Schoenfeld Union Sq. Artist Power will restraining order stay in place?

Monday the artists vs. NYC Parks Dept. City of NY -- I believe will be meeting with Judge Schoenfeld who for now has been protecting the artists serving the Parks Dept. with a restraining order  regarding the Parks Dept. letting them set up in their usual spots.

Tomorrow artist activists go before the judge and we are all praying he rules in favor of the artists.

If not there will be major protests organized of vendors city wide to fight for the rights of vendors to earn an honest living minus harassment.

City Council should remember vendors besides paying taxes also are voters!!!!!!!!!

Are you legally allowed to buy a switch blade knife, pepper spray, mace......?  Pepper Spray may be legal and here is a link stating it is with an 800 number but the rest ain't.    Anyway Paragon  does not sell any of the above.  The knives they sell are legal in compliance with the law so not only are there no switch blades but the knives they have require 2 hands to pull out the blade.  Too scary for me...I could cut myself trying....!

What they do have which is great for camping trips or for non-mace users is the E2D LED Defender!
Say what?  This flash light goes for aprox $165 dollars -- check with Paragon and it has an extra powerful light that will temporarily blind an attacker or raccoon and let us say it was a big human next you smash them with the prongs on the end of the flash light!!!!

All perfectly legal and if you click the Defender twice it is just a regular flash light!!!!!!!


If you don't want to hurt an animal but startle and scare them away the defender may be the way to go....perhaps......and if you don't want to carry pepper spray because you never know which way the wind is blowing and someone is close enough to be blinded by the light so to speak than go for it and use the prongs, drop kick'em in the balls, break a knee, run as fast as you can as you call 911!!!!!!!!

Here I am at the store where I bought my recession bikini top for 5 dollars and than ran and protested Christine Quinn at the Jane Jacob Street Signing where she tried to pass herself off as Jane Jacobs when in actuality she gets kickbacks from developers!!!!!  

I can't find my recession bikini so I bought a new bikini at the same store for 5 dollars.  They have 3 left 2 size larges and one size extra large.  I have the top on upside down...oopse.

I would not want Britney Spears like stalkers showing you what I call "crushed velvet" the squig most of us females have -- at least in America.  I went through my big fatty stage in college going from great athlete to lethargic.  My knees are shot to hell and I can't find the energy to work out as hard as I would like but I hope to get back in shape, drop some pounds.

I do get pissed off that females in the entertainment industry who pass themselves off as feminist allow us to compare ourselves to them when most of them how had surgery and all kinds of treatment to look air brushed.   The Mac Book has a photo booth -- it is Apple's cool take on the old style photo booth that was so much fun to sit in and get your picture taken.  Apple has amazing special effects as well.

 I am 48 so I just angled myself a certain way -- the light was kind to me,  lucky for me...


On a very grave note, some New Yorkers are living in an economic depression already and the clowns of Albany are just making it worse for NYC every day that they do not balance the budget.
