I adopted this stunningly beautiful cat at age 10 years old. She was left on the street and lived in the window of Whiskers for a month until I adopted her. I was baby sitting a friend's cat for a month so as soon as I finished caring for my friend's cat, I adopted her! Combined with 5th Avenue Veterinary Specialists the Animal Medical Center saved her life when she was limping it turned out from severe arthritis but Dr. Solas at 5th Ave sent me to AMC to have her eye removed. She had glaucoma and 20 is the highest acceptable level for pressure and she was about 81.
This morning I showed up an hour and half early for a dentist appointment and pondering running home and forgetting this unwanted expense but lucky for me and my best friend we stayed.
Dr. Riback calmed me down and he could see trouble already. I told him root canal was out of my budget.
The surgery went well and the front tooth was beyond saving even if root canal was in the budget. Her tooth was in a terrible state -- abscess and filled with puss. Two teeth were removed. Right now she isn't feeling any pain...only me...
Animal Medical Center saved my cat's life again -- that means 7 more to go.
Dr. Riback is very professional and very good with two legged animals as well as four.
I don't go to local vets any more because none had been able to recognize the glaucoma and the need for the eye to be removed.
Thanks to AMC. Here is my your of the Animal Medical Center on YouTube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AD031ICvYhg
