Why didn't Dept of Investigation look in to HP? More to this story -- it is big -- bigger scandal than CityTime -- my guess not just HP since nyc gov green lighted 2 billion dollars in spending and than decides to hire NASA!!!! Why, is the NYPD going to answer 911 calls on the moon. We were robbed.
ookiaaa 12:22 PM May 30, 2012 The comptroller is absolutely correct that HP should have nevr been awarded this contract. The only reason they got it was because IXP had to withdraw their bid or the Department of Investigations would have prosecuted them for committing fraud. They were totally inept, but due to the fact that the city wrote such a horrible RFP no reputable company wanted any part of it. To show how highly qualified HP was look at how many HP employees were on the project doin real work, and not providing bloated overhead. Report abuse
tumblindice58 11:49 AM May 30, 2012 Why is it that taxpayer is the answer for any and every problem in todays world?Whats wrong with going after the perpetrators and demand restitution and then throwing their sorry corrupt ***'s in the pokey It seems the only ones getting away with anything is the crooks where is the deterrent to commitiing offenses?I guess I was raised wrong because Im just one of the fools they call a taxpayer! Report abuse iheartnyc 11:37 AM May 30, 2012 Some consultants submitted time sheets a month or two before they worked. ============================================================================ I would love an answer on this one- How did the accounts payable department not catch this.. Maybe its time to start looking at the employees who work for ALL the city agencies, everyone gets pod at teachers, cops, fdny, but what about all OFFICES.. Someone was cutting the checks, oh wait they still have the same crappy systems they use to track doctors who overcharge on medicaid... The city is a giant cesspool of corruption, time to stop with the bandaids.. In a perfect world taxpayers should stop paying all income taxes till the city starts to answer the f'in mess we are in.. Cant keep spending if no money coming in.. Report abuse iheartnyc 11:33 AM May 30, 2012 The debacle with Hewlett-Packard could cost city taxpayers more than $100 million, the audit found. ============================================================================ Hi Bloomie here is the money for your day care!!!
