NYPD 1st Precinct 6th Precinct Thank You 250 Broadway March 6 Testimony We Demand a Hospital Christine Quinn Locked Out Community 75 Year Old Fainted in Freezing Cold Ambulance took 30 min. Quinn + Private Security 250 Brutal! Read!
Norman Siegel joined me in a City Hall meeting to ask why Christine Quinn's own community (West Village Chelsea) were locked out of testifying they want a hospital as they were made to stand in the freezing cold for hours, were finally forced to leave and never made it inside to testify in front of City Council that had mostly left by the time the few folks that withstood hours in the cold finally got in. We estimate 200 people showed up and never got a chance to speak up.
Christine Quinn did what Bloomberg tried to do on term limits but the weather was a lot warmer and most people got to testify.
There were too many NYPD there that morning and barricades we didn't feel we needed but the NYPD headed by the 1st Precinct Commander Winski were respectful and peaceful in contrast to the private security at 250 Broadway who ignored my demand to allow the most fragile and elderly in because a 75 year old man had passed out! Dr. David Kaufman and Nurse Eileen Dunn were attending to him and a crowd had surrounded the elderly man on the ground so the security guard didn't even seem to believe me.

I had been standing out in the cold for hours in a little summer dress which was a political protest Shakespearean like jest mocking Christine Quinn who never showed her face and this was her district -- her community demanding a full service hospital. Hint, Quinn, Stringer and Amanda the People's Burden could have made "it" protective zoning for a hospital happen and they didn't. As usual they rule in favor of the rich, stupid and greedy as we know why.
Anyway at the meeting I demanded an investigation in to why the ambulance took 30 minutes. Quinn's staff looked in to it and stated there was no 911 call or ambulance. I guess they didn't look deeply enough. I responded we could FOIL the 911 calls.
Well, the 6th Precinct who has been really respectful of our on going hospital protests was responsive to me and I was able to track down the NYPD officer who I asked to call 911 for me because I was numb and he made the call and followed up with me -- the ambulance was on it's way.
I got to speak to this good Sgt. from the 6th Precinct and thank him.
He is another part of this that Christine Quinn and her staff are pretending never happened. Her own district left out in the cold regarding a hospital and even worse having a senior pass-out from the freezing cold. We have video as well as the attending Dr. and Nurse who happen to have worked at St. Vincent's and now I also have the NYPD confirming he too called for the 75 year old man.
Thank you.
I am waiting for a response on all the 911 calls but I know have more proof besides video and the actual people involved so let's see if Christine Quinn can wake-up out of her coma along with her staff and actually get us answers as to why the ambulance took 30 minutes and why her district was locked out.
Thank NYPD...your presence was a little too large but you did good.
I can't say the same for the private security and Christine Quinn and gang tossing "Democracy" down the toilet again -- March 6, 2012 250 Broadway....locked out by Quinn...her own district....
