Mike Bloomberg veiled threat to Haggerty Mike’s Pandora’s Box Audit Mike Bloomberg’s Campaign Spending by Suzannah B. Troy
I don’t even like the term Pandora’s box because it has misogynist implications but my point is yesterday in The New York Daily News Adam Lisberg’s piece exposing Haggerty’s affair with a Bloomberg accountant was tantamount to blackmail -- a warning -- why else would it have been published. What would it matter who Haggerty slept with? It certainly did not matter to Mike Bloomberg that his campaign staffer was sleeping with an accountant of his from his private empire. For all we know Bloomberg encourages orgies amongst his staff, just joking. There certainly is a lot of “dating” that goes on in those circles. Another blogger is always telling me about Maureen Keaney and who she dated. She worked with Haggerty and her husband worked on Cy Vance’s campaign and in fact as I recall didn’t Cy Vance owe Guma money?
I answer a blogger’s email to me below -- this is my hypothesizing...my theory -- in one word -- audit...how about a full audit of bloomberg’s campaign spending for the last two elections and I believe you will find sub-zero trickle down... an economic term I made up. (I paint with words.)
Aram Roston wrote Mike did funnel $ election prior to this one via Republic party.
Yes, my guess is everyone (most everyone) knew.
Remember Mike spent 150 mill this election with no audit so there are plenty others that pulled a haggerty.
Mike didn't care how he won or how $ was spent.
Haggerty got caught by NYPost reporter which is why Vance was forced to actual do something.
Dear Fellow Blogger everyone including Cy Vance knows Mike broke campaign laws.
I give you link to Wayne Barrett’s article that is clear cut like Aram Roston that Bloomberg broke campaign laws. Barrett was fired down the road by the Village Voice who published his article.
(Question for Cy Vance: Are campaign laws easy to break kind of like Jay Walking?)
Haggarty was very sloppy this time around and technically he did break the law as did Mike.
Mike didn't care.
If Post reporter didn't report this we would never being hearing anything.
Don't forget my term
Sub Zero Trickledown.
Clearly Haggerty wasn't only campaign guy deep pocketing $
