This newspaper exposed Quinn sponsoring a developer for 2 million that gave her a kickback in campaign donations and the project never got built. Your paper has reported city council got kickbacks from developers. Bloomberg can't explain his 750,000 fee to the Independent Party 2 days before the election. City Council says they are not guilty except for Martinez who was "honest" enough to admit he was stealing tax payer money from the get go. It is reported that we the tax payers are paying for Christine Quinn and staff's high priced defense attorney's that specialize in White Collar Crime. Note: The Villager and NYU turned away a senior citizen handicap gentleman that did not have accessory ride and made an Olympic effort to get there. Community activists including me and Norman Siegel fought hard and eventually NYU did let him but it took too long and it was cruel. NYU president John Sexton ran down to testify Mike must have a 3rd term and clearly NYU is in bed with Bloomberg-Quinn and The Villager endorsed Quinn so do the math. Quinn has sold out and she is not what she appears to be.

p.s Look at this YouTube -- There is a link in the text portion for an article "Built up Complaints" and Christine Quinn could not attend the City Council Task Force Meeting on DOB which I attend and spoke. The crowds response to what I had to say was powerful....Go to the YouTube and click on the link for Chelsea Now which John Sutter's paper he owns along with The Villager, Gay City and Downtown Express. I also had to file an aggravated harassment complaint against the assoc. editor of The Villager Lincoln Anderson because he would not leave me alone and sent me emails with "crazy talk" just nuts stuff even accusing me on behalf of Bob Airhood, his ex-employee of extortion -- crazy because Marlene was photographed topless and drunk in the park by Arihood. Arihood has been known to get drunk but we won't see him topless because he has a home to go to and thank goodness for that. He photographs her relentlessly but never even buys her some food or even given her a gift of a photo like he gave me before he be finally got it through his thick skull I did not want to be his girlfriend. She is African American and 56 years old mostly homeless and she had told me she needs rehab but she got prison. Very sad and even worse is she has Lincoln Anderson and Bob Arihood obsessed with painting her in the worst light. Clearly she has suffered a lot. She is blind in one eye and she knew she needed help that she couldn't get and besides that she has Arihood treating her like Britney Spears. Because I spoke up I had to deal with Anderson who has stalked me on the internet including YouTube making ridiculous comments even calling a news reporter he had turned away to the Quinn debate unprofessional when cleary Andeson is unprofessional. Why does John Sutter employee such a nut job? John Sutter there are a lot of question I would like to ask you about your newspapers, your staff and even air space.

Suzannah visiting The Morgan Library exhibition on Jane Austen

Fran Liebowitz talked about Austen not writing her letters for public consumption. Liebowitz also talks about why Austen's stories are so enduring and "truth" is why. Go, see and hear why Austen's "truth" is why her stories endure. The short film is entertaining and Cornel West addresses Jane Austen and freedom including from social constraints. Check out the exhibition and The Morgan's dining room has a Jane Austen lunch which is pricey but I am sure fans would enjoy the fine cuisine as well.

I am praying Gabby wins and I think of Marlene, mostly homeless, poverty level, African American, blind in one eye and how she had been preyed on by
exploitive men and the victim of racism by Bob Arihood. If only a photo of Bob Arihood topless which is a horrifying thought and ditto for Lincoln Anderson, associate editor of a little rag most people don't read and Anderson supports Arihood's photo of Marlene topless when she was clearly drunk out of her mind-in the park - if only photos of their middle aged over weight white bodies were plastered on the internet but unlike Marlene they are not poverty level, victim of abuse and these 2 white men have a home and a door to close.
Marlene had told me she needs rehab instead she got prison.
So I want Gabby to win the Oscar so badly in honor of people that have suffered like her character did but also for women like Marlene who could not or cannot get the help they need to get away from destructive environments and get the care they need and end up in prison because they could not get rehab and the love and care they need. Anyone who has spoken to Marlene sober knows she is a loving good person.

I am getting feedback from a diverse group of people telling me I called it way ahead of the game.
Just look at the portrait and the poster and you can see how hard I worked. The text on the poster is powerful.
I stood outside the gates of City Hall at the Inauguration and yelled about a corrupt city council and how Mike stole the election. This Independence Party scandal is big and he can't account for the money and more. You have to read the articles and I put links in the text portion of the YouTube as usual.
I did call it and we are in for major shake-ups this year.

Your are welcome.When Tompkins Square Park was "Tent City" and Parks Manager John Bachman had the position that Harry Greenberg now has he was able to take this iconic sign up with him to the Bronx when he was promoted to Chief of Operations. John Bachman most have felt strongly about this art sign because the frame is magnificent.
I am sad to tell you that John Bachman has passed away after years of service. The new deputy chief gave the sign to Harry Greenberg because Harry did work here in Tompkins during the riots and the chief knew how much the sign meant to Harry Greenberg.
Note: Harry has been sick so best of health to you Harry. After interviewing Harry, I had to use the women's bathroom in Tompkins and I am so proud because there are doors there because I contacted the Parks Dept and NYPD and asked for the doors to be restored. I am aware of the problems but asked for doors even if they were smaller to discourage "the problems" that occur there hopefully less and less.
Harry Greenberg also designed this low cost tamper proof soap dispensers because homeless woman passing through would vandalize the soap dispensers so thanks again to Harry Greenberg. With the budgetary crisis and cuts thanks for your ingenuity!

What a joke Christine Quinn said the conflict of interest committee said it is not a conflict of interest for city council to vote to extend term limits...and to vote themselves a raise and I guess it doesn't matter that many also have lousy attendance records and are paid 6 figure salaries, with parking placards and stipends. Apparently they can steal tax payer money,hire their relatives and life partners or make sure they are on boards of orgs. they give tax payer money to aka nepotism and the tax payers are given the bill for top law firms for Christine Quinn and staff. From Albany to City Hall the common thread is power corrupts and we need high profile arrests and successful prosecutions! I wish we could give them a bill on the way out including for their high priced attorneys.

Yo -- shutting down Fire Patrol 2 is just bad mojo. In Alfred C. Smith's book "The New York City Fire Patrol". Fire Patrol 2 on West 3rd is said to be haunted by Fire Patrolmen Schwartz who hung himself in the 1930's broken hearted over his wife being unfaithful. Apparently Fire Patrol was his other home and he has been seen there and over. The American Flag should still be up there proudly marking this stunningly beautiful building that takes your breath away. The plaque honoring Fire Patrolman Roma should also be up honoring his courageous and heroic death Sept. 11 and Fire Patrol 2 should be open. I do believe we have criminal, civil court and the the court of bad mojo. Donate the building back to Fire Patrol 2 and let them reopen. After 9-11, king Mike shut down our firehouses because he sees them as real estate to sell despite pushing a reckless tsunami of development which in theory would mean we need for fire houses open and staffed. Stop erasing our 9-11 heroes that died running down there in the line of duty. Mayor give them their rank on the memorial. That was the largest loss of rescue workers lost in the line of duty in our Nation's, State, City and within each department's history including Fire Patrolman Roma. Everytime I walk by Fire Patrol 2 I feel ill. The only thing worse would be if the evil empire NYU bought it and tore it down like they did Edgar Allen Poe's house across the street.

Oil spill St. Marks Place NYPD TV Unit investigates
Oil spill this morning and the closest unit was the NYPD Movie Unit! I asked the NYPD officers is this real or part of a movie set? In NYC it is so hard to tell the difference!This was a real oil spill and they happen to be the closest unit so they answered the call.
NYPD Community Affairs tend to have the best people skills but the Movie Unit are even nicer!
I remember them from when I did grunt work on movies way back when. They are 20 in number but at any moment they may have to answer the call of "reality NYC".
The NYPD that are good and honorable get a special place in Heaven. Being an NYPD officer has to be the toughest and most under appreciated job in NYC.
Note: Today had to be the most positive NYPD day I have had in a while. I ran over to an NYPD unit with the massively large machine guns and a beautiful German Shepard NYPD dog and chatted with them. I wanted to know what was up but it was just standard work post 9-11. I did my stand up comedy for them about NYC politics. They were the most positive upbeat group of officers I have spoken to and they made me feel very good about the NYPD.
On a serious note I did tell them sometimes I am afraid of the NYPD. I explained why and they said they are like any group...they have their good apples and bad but I agreed they are overwhelmingly good. They are down to about 35,000 and with the budget cuts they may hit the lowest number under 35,000 in many years. I said that is true of any group including priests, rabbis, etc.
I showed them the powerful photo that the superb photographer Richard Cohen took of me surrounded by NYPD with my "Mayor Bloomberg King of New York, Is Democracy for Sale?" poster. These heavily armed NYPD were very cool and the women with big machine guns looked so wholesome they could be in Ivory Snow commercials. I do have amazing respect for their courage. I didn't tell them but I thought of NYPD Officer Moira Smith may she rest in peace. I made up the term "geo-sexual politics" meaning we still ain't equal.
I made up the economic term "sub-zero trickle down" an example Mike Bloomberg spending over a 100 million dollars to buy a third term but the money did not trickle down. If he want trickle down than he needed to hand out the 100 million on the street and he would have gotten a lot more votes.
I wrote "Chopping the Street one mega million at a time" in 2003 -- a short fictional story about a woman that takes over an international biker club and turns the club into a global financial service firm on wheels. I was really talking about white collar crime. How difficult it is to detect, prosecute and how expensive prosecuting these cases are costing the tax payers billions of dollars whether they are prosecuted successfully or not or the crimes detected. I also take a look at sexism and gossip.
This story was cutting edge, a head of it's time and I called it before Bernie Madoff and the implosion of Wall Street although it is clear Wall Street is back to business as usual which still makes my story as pertinent.
