Don't forget Mike's money manager Steve Rattner got in big trouble with pay to play scandals with pension funds which I think was a huge conflict of interest in the first place but Steve l lives in denial and Steve Rattner still thinks he is going to plug his book on being Car Czar supposedly rescuing the auto industry but he thinks people really believe he stepped down to spend more time with his family. Yeah right. Mike Bloomberg standing by Steve Rattner is another big scandal brewing and if Rattner is banned by the SEC what happens to the 5 billion he moved out of Quardrange because he wrongly thought Quadrangle would take the fall and in to a new company he created that we still do not know the name because Mike Bloomberg is not transparent. Of all places, The American Museum, the monstrous city planner who now tries to lay the blame of her dirty work on Mike Bloomberg at least in some circles is going to pat herself on the back for the mass displacement of so many New Yorkers from Manhattanville for her good friends at Columbia University to Willets Point to Brooklyn where an entire neighborhood was displaced for the Nets billionaires boy club and she has done dirty work for NYU aiding and abetting NYU in the tear down of St. Ann's from 1847 at 120 East 12th Street and she helped push through an illegal air sale by the USPS to NYU. She wasn't done with the East Village okaying way too many zone busting dorms and illegal in my opinion down right corrupt real estate deals for Cooper Union to bust through zoning and in one case lease the land where the hideous mirrored building half empty is by the black cube and to tear down the little yellow science building and supersize so it is the height of the Cooper Union dorm across the street thanks to the evil witch, Amanda the people's Burden. Even the previous mayor Rudy's city planner said no to Cooper Union. It is a shell game but when it comes to very rich well connected people Amanda can only say YES!
Amanda mega-millionaire with 40 million dollar trust funds for her kids is responsbile for the mass displacement of way too many so it is down right evil that she show her very tight surgerized face at The American Museum downtown. She and Mike Bloomberg may be responsible for a historical number of people being displaced EVER under one administration.

Lindsey Lohan in denial - I hate writing about celebrities but you guys like to read it so here....
I find myself tuning in to TMZ and Harry Levin's insight and I have to go with him saying she is in denial.
I find myself describing many NY politicos as in denial -- in fact I say something like...denial is the new crack cocaine for corrupt politicians and I include Bloomberg's money manager Steve Rattner who may be banned by the SEC for 3 years.
Lindsey Lohan does according to TMZ have drugs in her system but she says she has been on them always...something like that.
I do write about celebrities and people like to hear what I have to say but I don't find them interesting and I am far more concerned about the oil spill that is killing off innocent sea life and destroying lives and in some ways we yet don't understand our future on this planet.
Back to celebrity train wrecks because I guess they are a vacation from real world problems.

Mercer Hotel gets Capt. Winski NYPD to harass Viet Nam Vets. Can we get a drug sniffing dog to the Mercer Hotel, ticket the non-stop idling limos and any unusual "activity" above the law when you are rich?
Note: March 29, 2012--We had a protest Nov. 2010 not against the 1st Precinct because they had been overwhelmingly good and Capt. Winski had backed off so it was against Michael Rawson of The Mercer Hotel who at some point after I protest departed. He has since donated 5,000 dollars to Christine Quinn, Mike Bloomberg's puppet. I finally talked with Winski and he was decent and I have no bad feeling towards him. I did this most for Eric who is now 81 and Eric has no animosity for Capt. Winski, and Eric has officers at the 1st that have always been kind to him. Eric has prostate cancer (not getting radiation treatment) and he is going to be out there this summer when he can. The 1st Precinct has backed off and I want to repeat Eric has no ill will. I filmed a Sgt. who ticketed Eric and the Sgt. came back and talked to Eric and shook his hand. Today I took photos of Capt. Winski harassing two men that served - one man front line in Viet Nam front line and one man that served during the Viet Nam war but not in Nam. Capt. Winski is written up in 1010 WINS for catching a bank robber which is good to know but why is he harassing Vets?
It is 99 degrees and that means even hotter on the side walks. You think that hotel would send out water to these Vets rather than harass them.
I photographed and praised the 1st Precinct when they did the right thing and refused to ticket the Vets when the creepy owner/manager of The Mercer Hotel called the NYPD on them.
Now I have to show you photos and tell you Capt. Winski got his guys to whip out their tape measures and using a ruler gave our two vets tickets and because of "inches". The Vets will go to court and fight the tickets. I hope they get these tickets dismissed!

Right now if you go to The New York eminent domain Times, my letter asking for a raise for the NYPD and the FDNY has been mysteriously removed with more than half of my 9 letters published pre-Bill Keller. I have contacted the paper and demanded they restore all my letters.
I have asked that the NYPD along with other the FDNY, PAPD, EMS be honored at the WTC memorial always in The Wall Street Journal with a powerful letter called "Betrayal at Ground Zero".
Witnessing Vets being harassed today was so wrong and Capt. Winski has warned the Vets that he will be back Saturday to harass the Vets so more. Have your cameras and video cameras ready.
I called and left my name and number with a respectful NYPD officer at the 1st Precinct for Capt. Winski. I made it clear this blog posting is going to Commish Kelly who is a Viet Nam Vet. I have heard on the street that he doesn't approve of the tables and even tried to discourage his wife from buying jewelry at one of these charming tables way back when. I asked Capt. Winski to call me with the time Saturday he will be returning so I can film him and post on YouTube.
I do fear the Commish caters to the rich like his boss but I won't stop writing him and speaking up for the Vets. Not every Viet Nam Vet came home and ends up Commish of the NYPD. I know one that died downtown a hero only to be made invisible along with all the heroes that rushed down to the site 9-11, many were highly decorated serving in the military and within their departments and died giving their all. The State of NY and the City act like our heroes died in a foreign country. If I was mayor and I am not running for office, there would be a sign down there from Sept. 12, 2001 on thanking and honoring the largest loss of rescue workers in our City, State and Nation's history.
My Dad served in World War 2 and he became a Prof. of Economics teaching for 53 years but not every Vet can do that and where does a rich arrogant hotel like The Mercer get off calling the NYPD when the Mercer Hotel is far from a saintly operation -- uh, huh, I am talking about the idling cars.
Can we get some drug sniffing dogs over to front doors of The Mercer Hotel? Can we get those machines that you wave like a wand that check for guns like they have in NYC schools over to The Mercer. I am sure that if anyone is caring a gun there they have a license -- no worries -- and those high priced sex workers -- the kind that Elliot Spitzer uses and many, many others here in NYC use -- I am sure they never visit The Mercer Hotel.
I am sure if there were any laws being broken except the idling cars that never, ever get tickets, the 1st Precinct would be on it.
Capt. Winski ticketed these guys because of inches and as soldiers maybe they survived by inches only to get ticketed here in NYC for "inches". I blame The Mercer Hotel management for wasting the NYPD's time and worse for getting the NYPD to harass Vets ; it is disgusting, a big greedy hotel using NYPD to harass small businesses.
I have had breakfast at The Mercer in the past but I will never ever eat there again. Any rich people and movie stars that want to stay at The Mercer -- unless you support the harassment of Vets and people that are trying to earn a living and don't get paid obscene amounts of money ---I suggest staying else where!

King Mike Bloomberg and his socialite mega millionaire city planner Amanda the people's Burden catered to their mega rich developer friends, still catering to them at the expense of the people of NYC. They did not give a thought to NY's old infrastructure they were giving free passes to bust through zoning....why was there zoning protection in the first place to push population growth with out considering little quality of life issues like transportation over load and garbage pick-ups and the need for more garbage cans.
At least the people of NY can take comfort in the fact that developers got a lot richer under Mike Bloomberg.
Mike Bloomberg even through out the requirement that the DOB commissioner have an engineering or architecture degree. Why do you think he did that? Because he wanted to make sure he could give out as many passes to recklessly build because supposedly that is good for the economy but in reality it was good for developers.

Why would Russia need spies when NY has allowed the abuse of eminent domain, displacing Americans and than selling the biggest shares in the Nets debacle to a Russian billionaire? China owns a huge part of America's massive debt. Why spy when they own?

FYI: Columbia U. apparently Russia's prime choice for recruiting is now evicting an entire neighborhood called Manhattanville abusing eminent domain to steal peoples' property...

NYC Dept. Finance corrupt, inept or dysfunctional or is it the USPS?
I am suppose to get a bill telling me how much to pay by the beginning of July. In June I saw all my neighbors got their bills so I called up the Dept. of Finance and figured out how much I owed and mailed them a check.
How creepy, fishy, weird, corrupt?, inept, or dysfunctional is that?
I called NYC Finance and held on to the telephone for over 20 minutes and than hung up and called 311. I got this amazing woman. I can't remember her name....I am exhausted but she confirmed my bill was mailed to me.
I never got it ---which means either someone stole it which is against the law or the USPS screwed up or something else but either way it is all very creepy and corrupt but when I saw my neighbors got their bills and I did not, I simply called up and found out what I owed and paid my bill on time.
I have just emailed with the NYC Finance Dept. and they said they can't control the mail so it appears it is appears it is the USPS and I will not have any contact with the USPS because their customers service makes the Mafia look warm and cuddly.

Visit 120 East 12th Street and see the facade from 1847 of St. Ann's that survived everything but NYU's need and greed to build yet another mega dorm in the East Village.
Legally the USPS was to notify the State of NY but that would have slowed down the USPS getting it's hands on millions of dollars and the evil empire of the east village NYU tearing down yet another historic building asap to supersize, bust through zoning using the term "community facility" to exclude the community and further displace and push-out the community.
The USPS was confident that they could get away with out notifying the State of NY they way they chronically block fire hydrants.
I would tell you too look at my ex-home of 20 years and see the fire hydrant blocked by the front door but I believe do to my hard work contacting the USPS, The NYPD and writing about it so much on my blog and talking about it on YouTube the USPS has stopped chronically blocking one fire hydrant.
Getting back to the illegal air sale at 120 East 12th Street by the USPS to NYU - the USPS never notified the State of NY as legally required because the USPS was confident they were and are above the law abusing their status and the State of NY never came in and examined is this sale to NYU in the best interest of the community, environmental concerns, etc.
It never happened because the USPS and NYU only cared about one thing -- their own greedy agendas and not the people and the community.
The USPS loses billions each year!
Let me repeat this -- The USPS LOSEES BILLIONS OF DOLLARS EACH YEAR!!!
I do not use the USPS except if I am forced to and it has nothing to do with the internet.
The USPS makes the Mafia look warm and cuddly.

I alerted another authority because the Postal Police and the USPS are not only worthless but worse than that.
