City Room The NY Times reports "old news" that was on this blog how long ago?
Thanks to my sources that reached out to me. As bloggers we don't have the same rights -- including press passes to go where official news reporters go so I find myself turning to newspapers for validation but I didn't think it would take The New York Times this long.
The City Room isn't known for giving women bloggers acknowledgement for their work. That I know first hand.-
It is rumored The Gothamist ripped off the blog that did break the news and did not credit them. The Gothamist covered The Whole Earth Bakery and Kitchen Rally and I was erased by the Gothamist as well. I was the only one to talk about Filomena Silvestri -- a woman who died at 94 knowing we one a small victory -- her business would not be thrown out on the street -- not news worth covering ----the boys club. Keep not reporting the news and credit people that rip off my blog like the "Karen -- Love Saves the Day" incident and the old grey lady will be making some real talented reporters that do report cutting edge news as it happens unemployed. For every paper that covered Karen by the person that posted virtually the same photo and coverage I had posted days before -- not one acknowledged that fact -- The New York Times City Room, Village Voice and Gothamist. I had been covering Karen for an extended period of time exclusively.
It is sad that the leadership at the times is bringing down the paper and encouraging not reporting the news or not taking 5 minutes to research if any other blogs posted the news before their little pets that um may have been using my blog as a resource without crediting.
I don't have the access and resources the papers have so I find myself waiting...when are they going to report the news on the City Council investigation. I believe they have gone quiet because their papers have endorsed Bloomberg. The term limits votes by city council are tainted as well as a conflict of interest. Why no news on the investigation in to City Council?
That is just one example of not reporting the news...

YouTube is my on going documentary starting with Mayor Bloomberg King of New York
I can't access my YouTubes through my account or it is intermittent but I know my tubes are up.
I wanted to make a documentary on my Iphone and in away I have been doing it on my Iphone, macbook and inexpensive camera all posted on YouTube free and on going.
Since I can't get in and up I am happy to focus on Promise of New York and urge you to buy and support this film.

Channel 5 news Did I see Mike Bloomberg visited NYU students and he would not take questions?
He made some comments about if he is mayor blah blah people's home's blah blah....earth to Mike since you came in to office way too many people and small business have been forced to move and do not live in their homes and more of the same if you buy a third term.
John Sexton ran down to City Hall to testify we must have Mike for a third term. The next mayor won't let us tear down historic buildings and supersize historic neighborhoods. NYU tore down St. Ann's at 120 East 12th -- a must see if you haven't seen the facade from 1847.
Mike Bloomberg, socialite mega millionaire city planner, Amanda the people's Burden, and John 1.8 million dollars a year to tear down our neighborhoods Sexton will be supplying NYU buses and trolleys to ship any long term community members left in the neighborhood from Stuy Town, Chelsea, West Village -- East Village to South Street Seaport. We don't know yet where Mike and friends will be sending them...just the fact they are not welcome because NYU has to grow and Mike Bloomberg is NYU's mayor not the people of New York's.
Mike is the real estate developers mayors hence his very close relationship with John Sexton.

I want to poster light poles with my Mayor Bloomberg King of New York -- No Third Term -- Is democracy for Sale? posters. I can't it is against the law and I will get fined.
The politicians know it is against the law and do it.
They get fined. They most likely pay out of campaign donations which the average New York that wants to poster on poles doesn't have.
