Ciao for Now-- Miceli Family owned business of delicious healthy foods which doesn't mean it is necessary low calorie so that is why I lick the icing and run! It is lick or be licked! Delicous, mini-treat retreat from the mean streets of the East Village, just joking about mean streets!

Water Planes to Hamptons flying tonight, can we charge the rich people more money, raise the price of the toll booth in the sky that isn't
As usual ticketing and anything with transportation hits the middle and lower income, another way Bloomberg raises money for the city and continues to push out people who are struggling including small businesses.
Tonight I just saw a military helicopter chopping the air I am sure because of Memorial Day, my Dad says quietly a special day and than I see a water plane zoom by....as usual the laws are different for the rich, the fly above them....
I wish there was a toll booth in the sky and they were raising the price of that toll big time.
I could imagine Mayor Mike say -- if you do that you are driving away rich spoiled people that need to party in the Hamptons....they won't spend money there if we raise the prices for luxury airplane and helicopter rides to the Hamptons.
Viet Nam War Memorial, WW2, Korean War Memorials, Helen Keller, Holocaust Museum, NYPD Memorial, Battery Park City
Red, Anyone here who has walked through the Elephant grass should get a purple heart.
This is my favorite letter on the wall. My knees are shot so I can't run anymore but I used to do huge runs down here from the Village and stop and read his letter. Always deeply moved and sad he didn't make it home.

World War 2 Memorials

Korean War Memorial. I and a bunch of American Korean War Vets wrote the parks dept when they planted a circle of trees that would block the very point of the Memorial which is it is a sun dial which lines up with the very day they signed an agreement for Peace. The parks dept thanked us and moved the trees. The soldier forms the empty space which is symbolic of loss, what is not there, of many aspects undefinable.
Helen Keller and as usual very moved because of her homage to NYC, yes I agree except I rarely ever leave and more and more I feel I need to escape, take a break yet I remain.

7 tiers roof top symbolizing 7 million people mass murdered. I think of Mel Gibson who was raised by a Holocaust denier and I say "Mel Gibson" is Yiddish for anti-semite.

NYPD Memorial with large group of people paying their respects.
I only have my inexpensive cameras on me so I didn't do justice to the Statue of Liberty.
Battery Park City urban beach, grass instead of sand and lots of bathing suits, one or two magnificent bodies.
Suzannah B. Troy Memorial Day exhausted, wake up exhausted hair loss, think of my Dad today and our soldiers
I have been told that the trauma I went thru took it's toll -- stuck in fight and flight, adrenal over load, by product, hair loss, exhaustion, tummy roll.Think of my Dad, Dad was 18 years old, WW2, Oct - Nov, 1944, France, beaches had been cleared proceeded to Holland,
Dec. January 44-45 Battle of the Bulge, Belgium, very important battle, Hitlers failed attempt to divide the Allied armies and conquer them and failed. Dad fought in this battle.
Dad also fought in the Battle of Roer and they went on in to Northern Germany , Hannover and the war ended in May 1945.
I am extremely exhausted as if I have flat tire inside my soul. I am just happy my Dad is alive and we are talking today. Today is a day to be proud, a day to shed tears for courageous souls, loved ones lost. Sad piece in The New York Daily News of a retired NYPD Dad that works at a cemetery so he can be close to his son's grave. I can't fined today's article in NYDaily News search engine but here is one http://www.nydailynews.com/archives/news/2006/10/22/2006-10-22_dad_s_grave_duty__tending_to.html
I also think of Sept. 11 and how many of our front line died in the line of duty and also served in the military but to date the mayor refuses them their simple respect due their rank and they should all be together on the memorial. They should have be honored from the very first day at the site but the largest loss of rescue workers in our Nation's, state's, city's history remain invisible and as I said many served in the military, many were decorated by the military and by with in their departments.
Mike Bloomberg along with John Whitehead ex chair of Goldman Sachs and a World War 2 vet did not want to make them special but they are special and every day 24 hours 7 days a week these two guys are treated special because of their immense wealth and connections.
Another sad and angry note, another toll on my health was dealing with Jim Power when he fell and broke his wrist and shoulder. The VA hospital did not x ray his hip was he was there and did not follow up with any social worker which he clearly is in need of and far more.
He is now homeless and he seems in deteriorating health and I am sad to tell you I hear Jesse Jane's paw is infected and she too is in need of medical care. I had arranged for the Animal Medical Center to treat her from a special fund they have but Jim became so belligerent and I am not a trained professional and apparently there is no trained professional involved. I had to cut him off for my health because the hair loss became excessive going from bad to worse. He could easily bring her to a local vet he knows....just like he could be getting more and better Vet benefits than he is getting.
Suzannah B. Troy youtube on pension catastrophe and pension scandal, see links in text portion of youtube for scandals, see nydailynews, nytimes

The scandal part is covered in the text portion starting with the 2nd NY Post link but it gets very dark and actually connects to Steve Rattner who is currently car czar at The White House and for those articles go to The New York Daily News editoral and The New York Times link.
Mike Bloomberg propaganda bra, Suzannah B. Troy tears up Team Bloomberg mailer & collages in to protest bra
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pPr2GWwuHJw
Mike sends out this big glossy mailer about how green he is as in supporting Mother Earth not a reference to slush money and making more mega billions while everyone else is losing money but oops Team Bloomberg must have forgot it is public knowledge that Mike travels in a private jet plane and helicopter. Former President Clinton does not support Mike Bloomberg's slick move to serve a third term but that doesn't stop Team Bloomberg and their Orewellian propaganda to use a Clinton quote and this mailer full of lies.

Here is the link that proves that Bill Clinton does not endorse Mike Bloomberg's third term.

Channel 9 Local news Jolie elderly lame dog attacked by USPS worker who blamed dog for the attack on the dog, that is what it sounds like to me...?
This sweet old dog is lame and behind a chain leak fence but business as usual at the USPS, blame the victim. The mail carrier says she is innocent but it sure sounds like an unwarranted attack on a senior lame dog.
The postal worker sprayed the dog and it seems the worker really had no good reason to do so so I call it an attack.
The good news is the dog will be okay and the owner is considering sueing which means get on yet another long line, a list of people considering sueing the USPS.
I prefer to have no contact with the USPS. I don't go into post offices and I long for a house with a fence and the mail box on the outside so no postal worker ever sets foot on my property. The USPS lost only 2 billion dollars this year as opposed to the previous year where the lost only 5 billion dollars. The USPS management knows there are huge problems with the USPS besides the billions of dollars they lose each year but the union goes out of it's way to protect people they should not and needs major restructuring and if not the future of the USPS is in question because the USA's economy is bust and the USPS losing billions each year is a massive burden as is customer service that makes the mafia look warm and cuddly.
You never ever hear Fed Ex spraying and hurting dogs. Who pepper sprays and elderly handicapped dog? A postal worker.
Who blames the victim? The USPS! And the postmaster general thinks people want nothing to do with the USPS because of email.

ps My maternal Grandfather born in a tenement house on Ludlow Street was a mail main in the Bronx.

Tina Negron not forgotten East Village
Violence in the East Village. Tina Negron not forgotten. I return with this blog and my thoughts turn to you. You are not forgotten.
I return and I think of you.
Tina Negron's poem
“I see souls being lost because young brothers and sisters don’t know how to act,”
“I see the whole world coming to an end. I see me dying, but me fighting, on what’s on my mind, is trying to be, and that is really a message to you.”
