Suzannah Troy NYC Politics Activism

When I got bathroom doors returned to the women's bathroom Tompkins Square park and even suggested if concerned about the problems which caused their removal -- suggested making smart doors -- smaller to discourage uncool activity but enough so our basic human rights are respected and illicit activities discouraged. I wrote the NYPD and Parks Dept. I got my doors and satisfaction of knowing a handicap woman and care taker used the bathroom and have a door to close. When CB3 did nothing I got speed bumps for Anna Silver School. I was promised a bump for the school next to Anna but the City didn't keep it's word. They did do a series of steps to make both streets safer so thanks to DOT. I just accept my city council members failed me and continue to and the mayor as well and work on my own as if I was a mini- alternative renegade city agency. I just wish I had a law degree. I have one civil rights lawyer who is amazing and I go over our rights to protest - the law re: side walks etc. To good souls in NYC gov that helped me help the People when elected leaders failed us thanks and gratitude. Thanks to everyone that has helped me or support me. ps one city council member has dissed me and the community. I will be exposing him any and everytime he runs for political office. Most of our elected officials to busy counting their kick backs, lulus - and this guy got his lulu from Christine Quinn the same day Goldman Sachs gave out their bonuses. I will be standing by subways handing out flyers on his failings.
