Illegal NYPD Parking Placard Parked by 9th Precinct

Above is a link to two offensive NYPD illegal parking placards trying to pass for legal...one in front of the Rudin Sales office 120 West 12 for luxury hospital condos and two Mercer Hotel "loading and unloading" which back in the day was really private valet parking".

Parked by the 9th Precinct on 2nd Avenue just below diner on the corner.
Fascinating to watch NYPD 9th and the NYPD parking ticket unit give out tickets but no one notices this.

The above link has the worst two offenders but this car was parked right around the corner from the 9th Precinct on 2nd Avenue just below the diner where cops sometimes eat.  The car is low income so was this a moron who does not understand the law and gravity of their illegal activity using an out of date parking placard?  The car if towed which should be would cost more to get back than a parking ticket.  Was this a below average cop, a public member of the NYPD, friend relative or what?

You have to be shockingly stupid or confident that no one would bust you for this....hmmm.
Either way I would not want that person to have the placard.

I saw a NYPD parking ticketer - they used to be called Brownies for some reason....I waited patiently for his answer on what he would do if he saw an illegal or outdated NYPD parking placard.  I waited very patiently.  I promised I was not recording him.  He said in so many words sorry for his "non answer".

The worst offender is the luxury SUV in front of the Mercer (see above link) way back when  My guess is that "unusual" NYPD placard's owner has at least one gun he keeps under his bed and cocaine for stress relief.  You have to have balls and no brains to try and use a parking placard like that fake laminated one in front of the Mercer.

The NYPD have to get their act together.   All outdated placards need to be handed in.  The white shirts need to lecture the NYPD every time they go out to bust these offenders but they don't.

I have a specific reason why I think this could be a big problem down the road...won't spell it out for you.

The NYPD doesn't seem that interested in catching these and here is my question.   Is this just a small crime or are these people also taking "other liberties"?    Stop any police officer and ask them what they would do.  What is the procedure and I bet most can't answer you any few to none would call Internal Affairs and report the car.

It does gaul me that poor and middle class folk are ticketed up to their eye balls and I see so many people sticking things in their window including State Marshall's telephone numbers, medical stuff which I am not convinced is real.   It just may be really disgusting wealthy people or criminals that are above the radar and law....they have friends --- friends that gave them the placards?
