My letter in The NY Times asking for a raise for the NYPD and FDNY.
Very specific experiences like my last 911 --- an amazing AMAZING NYPD officer and I wrote Commish Kelly praising him and his partner.
He made peace -- he was such an amazing soul and diplomat. He works at the First Precint!
Such an amazing guy.
I remember when I gashed my leg really -- I was bicycling and hard to explain hit a girder that sliced open the side of my calf -- it was a very wide gash and I flagged down an NYPD officer -- such a nice man --- he got the medical kit out of the trunk -- it was hard for him to look but he helped me and I patched up my leg tight enough that I could get on my bike get home and get to St. Vincent's Hospital Emergency room.
I now have joined the NYPD critics but I am part of a small population that once had such a respect and admiration.
Do I still do. Yes but only for a small select few. I am in owe of the Bomb Squad. I am in awe of any NYPD that has courage to be really brave but also for ones that instructed to break laws and refuse to do so.
I can't express the sadness I feel. When I was assaulted by this violent woman and a terrible liar not aware I caught the entire event including her threatening me on video -- this at a doctor's office and Det. and I have 2, 300 views and I want this video to go viral to shame her and Dr. Fagelman and make it impossible for either of them and the NYPD to cover-up another episode if and when it happens because she went right back to her desk after she busted up my eye and hurt my 50 year old neck that was in bad shape before she ran at me full force to punch me in the eye, grab my hair and kick me.
So Det. John Vergona, you and your partner and Sgt. Chen had a laugh at my expensive.
Lt. Angelos Burgos you were contacted and DI Ed Winski you were contacted re: the false complaint and you did nothing.
Internal Affairs in my opinion is trying to cover-up so you can thank yourselves for changing my opinion of the NYPD along with what happen next -- that I listened to this...(see This American Life below and listen please)
and I made these to blogs dedicated to how you abused your power in my opinion you abused your power and aided and abetted crime rather than doing what a police officer is suppose to do.

The sergeant was accused of failing to verify that two officers had filed a robbery complaint; the same two officers were charged with not following the order to file the complaint." Fast forward to now - no media coverage Richard Brown says not no foul no crime.
