The Bowery Alliance Send a Check

Dear Friends and Neighbors,   Happy New Year!   The Bowery Alliance of Neighbors is proud to announce that the Bowery has been named to the State Register of Historic Places, with the National Register designation expected soon. This prestigious recognition strengthens our efforts to preserve the street's low-rise character and provides important financial incentives for the rehabilitation of the Bowery's most historic buildings. It is the result of a major, costly effort involving extensive research and documentation of the cultural, historical and architectural significance of this iconic boulevard.   Partnering with Two Bridges Neighborhood Council and through grants and individuals like you, we're more than halfway toward our $56,000 goal to pay for that extensive building-by-building research.   Please join us in this exciting success by making a fully tax-deductible donation to complete payment on this crucial project. Please be as generous as you are able.   Make checks payable to: Two Bridges Neighborhood Council Bowery Fund and mail to: Bowery Alliance of Neighbors 184 Bowery, #4, New York, NY 10012.   Thank you for your continued support and best wishes for a wonderful New Year!   Sincerely,                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                David Mulkins, Chair                                                                               Bowery Alliance of Neighbors                                                      184 Bowery, #4 New York, NY 10012 (631) 901-5435
