The Bowery Alliance Send a Check

Happy New Year!
The Bowery Alliance of Neighbors is proud to announce that the Bowery has been named to the State Register of Historic Places, with the National Register designation expected soon. This prestigious recognition strengthens our efforts to preserve the street's low-rise character and provides important financial incentives for the rehabilitation of the Bowery's most historic buildings. It is the result of a major, costly effort involving extensive research and documentation of the cultural, historical and architectural significance of this iconic boulevard.
Partnering with Two Bridges Neighborhood Council and through grants and individuals like you, we're more than halfway toward our $56,000 goal to pay for that extensive building-by-building research.
