I called and spoke to the operator and told her to please tell her supervisor and get this fixed immediately!
I called back again to find out if I could fill out the form and hand it in person today and the woman that answered the phone told me I can't change parties for a year. I told her to double check her info bcause I believed it was wrong.
She did and told me I have 25 days.

This was a scary experience and shows there are major flaws in the system although they did get it right in the end and never suggested stopping by in person today because time is of the essence.
We can't rely on the USPS so I am going in person.
